Sagepaw nodded and went at it. He checked the surroundings and it was mainly clear but with a few sticks. He avoided rhem and krept up on the mouse. He pounced on it and caught it. He walked back to Heatherrain and said to her: "Thanks for pointing that out!" He smiled at her.

HeatherRain stopped giggling for a moment, she looked at Sagepaw, smiled then climbed into a nearby bush. A minute later she returned with a huge rabbit.

Slytiger padded into Shadow's Break and glanced over his shoulder to see if Tallpaw was following. "This area is known as Shadow's Break. It's where quite a few kinds of herbs can be found, so you have to be careful not to damage any if you ever decide to hunt here," he explained, frowning slightly at how desolate it looked. "I presume it will look much different in newleaf, but for now, it seems as if leafbare has killed most of the herbs. Well, we'll see if we can't find some mallow. Do you remember what Elmshadow said it looked like?"

When the mentor and apprentice had left camp, Tallpaw had been basically trotting circles around her mentor, looking in every which way and crevasse to soak in everything. Although after a bit of walking and getting energy out, she eventually calmed down, strolling at the same pace as Slytiger.
Frankly, Tallpaw had been in her own little world for their walk to Shadow's Break so Slytiger's question prodded back to the present. "Ummm, I think he said that they grew low to the ground and had circley leaves?"
