Lotuspaw lightly pushed the crowfood into a neat pile. She continued marking the border. Was it rouges? ShadowClan? RiverClan? She didn't know, but something sure was rotten and not just that old prey.

Once Halfstone finished marking the border with Lotuspaw, they returned to the crow food. "Urg, I don't think it would be a good idea to carry it in our mouths, but I also feel Lionstar should see it?" Or maybe he shouldn't.
"Do you think we could wrap it in something?" He wanted this over with as soon as possible. He wasn't squeamish of anything really, but this didn't seem sanitary. Suddenly he was far less like the confident warrior guise he put on for the patrol and more an apprentice who didn't want to do a chore.

"We could use this oak leaf." Lotuspaw suggested. She carefully wrapped an old piece of prey with it and gently bit it and pulled it off the ground. It didn't really smell since it was so old. Still, she was happy she didn't have to touch it. Would they tell Lionstar?

Thank goodness this apprentice was smarter than he was. He grabbed another leaf and securely wrapped it. Once he was confident it wouldn't slip, he lifted it.
Halfstone waved his tail for her to follow and set a careful pace back home. He hoped this was the right thing to do. They really shouldn't bring these into the camp, so he tried to communicate with Lotuspaw that he wanted her to stay with them outside the camp while he dragged someone else to double check.

Lotuspaw understood what he meant. She followed him with the old prey up to camp. She placed it a few tail-lenghts away from the camp wall, newt to a tree.
"Hopefully none of us get sick after this. Who knows how long its been there. I think you should report this...Oh if you don't mind, of course." Lotuspaw always tried to be respectful towards others, especially since her huge size and intimidating appearence tended to give cats the wrong idea.

Scarlet sat down behind a tree and thought. "Where am I?" she asked herself. The Orange tabby got to her paws and started to walk around,her mind spinning. Why did this have to happen to my mother? Why did this have to happen to my father? "I will get revenge!" Scarlet snarled. She froze when she heard a twig snap,and looked over to where it had come from. Oh,a squirrel.she thought.

Silvershade was taking their nice daily stroll-- minding their business until an unfamiliar scent filled their senses. They paused, furrowing their brows together. Intruder?

The warrior lowered themselves to the ground, following after Scarlet's trail. They could hear distant talking..? They were just getting close until they stepped on a-- "Oopsie, " They blinked, flickering down to the broken twig. Silvershade stepped over it sheepishly before coming out of the bushes and into Scarlet's view. Their body stiffened, "Heeelloooooo…?" They mewed to the molly, tilting their head.

"Weeellll, for starters. I'm Silvershade! The one and only!" They mewed, smiling brightly at the Scarlet. The she-cat seemed so friendly. Yep, yep. "Who are ya?"
