Shadepaw padded on, ignoring the conversation between the two. He studied the border that divided RC and ThC.
The Turkish Angora closed his eyes, inserting an image of the affects when Sore becomes the leader of a clan, forcing the others to make the clans one whole by torturing them or persuasive tactics. Yes.. yes! He'll get rid of the puny leaders and then become the one and only leader of this ONE clan.

But that was his imagine, nothing real has happened, but he'll make him real....
I will!

Sore-- No, wait.. still Shadepaw, opened his eyes. He eyed the beckoning from lionwhisker who he reluctantly nodded and followed. Twisting back, he saw that his mentor was gone. Good Riddance!
The black apprentice rubbed his paw to the imagery line, marking the new borders.

From boredom, he turned his aqua-blue eyes onto the tom besides him. "Don't you have a hate bubble forming in your belly, Lionwhisker?"

After remarking a spot he glanced down at shadepaws odd question . " towards you? No I just let that go...but I do have ...some hate towards traitors ...and I love punishing them. So sad I couldn't do that to that worthless scarface and darkstorm... " he meowed with a gaze up to the sky. "why you ask?"

Shadepaw snapped his head around to see if that old ass is eavesdropping. He turned back to glare at Lionwhisker. "Not towards me," you fool, he wished he could say, but he knew it will go wrong.
With another glance at Cherrybubble and back the tom-warrior.
"Don't you feel jealous? Towards someone?"

The older warrior had ducked behind a bush to mark a spot on the border, her ears trained towards her fellow patrol members as she continued marking. She was slowly making her way closer, making sure the borders were marked correctly and thoroughly. She was going to do a good job and have something to show for it for the lovely deputy. Though she glanced up at Shadepaw's and Lionwhisker's conversation, her ears twitching in interest. She couldn't agree more with Lionwhisker though, the whole fiasco with Scarface and Darkstorm was horrible. She was going to have to keep a sharper eye out for traitors within the clan, Cherrybubble didn't want anything bad to happen to her clan, to Thunderclan. And she was having her skepticism's about Shadepaw.
"Jealous towards who?" She questioned as she was coming closer, having finished marking her part of the border. "Are you jealous of my excellence, Shadepaw?" She meowed with a smirk, tail twitching lightly in amusement.

Ears perking up the tom made an o shape with his mouth. aha...I understand now.... "to be honest yes. But we all get jealous. And I'm not ashamed of it ....but not to the point of hatred . " he reassured with a smile. He was just a tad jealous ...the position of deputy would have been amazing ! But we can't win them all of course . "shouldn't you be helping to reset the scent marks?" he meowed with a playful poke of his tail. With that he replaced the next marker. Looking over at cherrybubble " and I doubt that's it dear..." he meowed .

Shadepaw glared at Lionwhisker's response, then at the lame mentor. He growled under his breath, disliking how the molly was eavesdropping them.
"Sure, fat ass," the Turkish Angora insulted the mentor. "I'm jealous at your lameness!" anger crept inside the apprentice's chest. He wished he can get rid of his mentor... maybe he can?
He marked the rest of the borders.

Stars, why does RiverClan have to be so big? He followed without comment, eyeing the border as they approached. His legs hurt; cats with such short limbs weren't meant to walk such long distances. It should be considered torture. But if that was the cost, then he figured it would all be worth it one day.
He finally caught up with her, and blinked across the scent line. Under the sharp scent of frozen water it smelled smoky, and he thought some of the branches looked a little black around the edges. He glanced up at Morningmeadow. "Did something happen here? It... it smells like fire, almost."

Morningmeadow smelt it too. "There was a fire not long ago, you weren't here though. I still feel bad for Thunderclan." She said. Sure, her loyalty was to Riverclan. But she couldn't help feeling bad for the other clans. "Well, thats all for today! What do you want to do next time? Battle Training, or a Hunting lesson?"

His tail twitched. A fire? Of course, I should have realized. "Definitely battle training," he meowed. "I want to be able to fight for RiverClan. When ShadowClan attacked me I wasn't able to defend myself. I need to make sure I can do that."

"Okay! We'll start in a day or two." Morningmeadow replied. "For now, let's go home and get some rest. We did a lot of walking today!" Morningmeadow smiled before padding back home.
