Waterheart woke up to them trying to get to Branchkit's body, standing up herself to follow the two kits. She felt her heart sink at the sight of his lifeless body. She was upset with herself to not see that he had needed help and myabe he would still be alive if she did.

(Yeah. Wait should we post in StarClan or something since he died?)

Greykit licked Branchkit's lifeless body sadly. "I wish he was still here.."

Waterheart gave Greykit and Thornkit affectionate licks. "I know I do too, but starclan thought that it was his time. Death is something we all have to accept. I know it'll be hard, but we got to move on.", she meowed in a soft hushed voice.

Greykit crawled into a ball. Thornkit sighed, trying to get over what had just happened.

"Grief is known, always." Hallowpaw's voice came as he padded towards them.

Waterheart looked up as she heard Hallowpaw's voice. The queen gave him a look of grief for Branchkit, but it soon left, making her eyes turn to slits. "Yes it has I guess. Honorpaw was looking for you.", she meowed to him. She felt weird saying her adopted daughters name on her tongue.

Hallowpaw's eyes were as cold as stone but when he heard Honorpaw's name his eyes were warm for a second. "I'll go find her then.."he padded off.

Waterheart watched him leave, letting out a sigh before she placed her nose to Greykit's cheek. She looked at Thornkit with a painful grief look. The molly didn't know what it would be like if they all were gone, but she tried not to think of it.

Honorpaw was sitting in their temporary camp, feeling a little sad that their home was burning. The molly closed her eyes and tried to imagine what the camp might look like now. She thought of all the damage that they would have to fix once they get back to camp.
