Irisflame nodded, her eyes blazing in surprise. The kit was a quick learner, and her comprehensive skills just blasted a hole in her pride of her insightful thoughts when she was a kit. This little cat could do good stuff. She may mint leaves stop the tom, and sweeped his eyes closed before answering.
"Yes, and so does mint. Bingo, kid!" She purred. She lay the iris flower over the body, a mark of her blessings.

Flintfreckle thought about his statement momentarily. Lizard? That’s not a big meal... He thought, then inwardly shrugged. It wasn’t his place to judge his apprentice’s food-choices. Unless it was kittypet dung-pellets. Then he would have to step in. Distracted from his thoughts as the tom continued to speak, and tilted his head, noticing sadness and awkwardness glittering in the young toms gaze. He flicked Frostpaw’s ear with his tail warmly. He had vaguely heard of Ravenvine’s death, but not his friend. He couldn’t have thought about how hard that must’ve been for the young cat. “I’m sorry.” He murmured, finished his raven, and stood up, beckoning Frostpaw with a flick of his tail, his gaze soft. “Are you ready to go?” He asked gently.

Timbergrowl looked to have taken a precautionary step away from Frogpaw, as though he thought he might unconsciously stomp her again.

L-Large? ..Did she mean fat? An apprentice was calling him fat! The thick, layered fur around his haunches bristled. He wasn’t fat! He was.. thick! Suddenly he was beginning to regret sneaking seconds.

The young tom fussily stamped his paw, which felt like it’d caused a small earthquake. “Oh yeah? Well you’re..” He trailed off while he scoured his head for a retort that wasn’t too mean. “.. Short!” he finally wheezed feebly. “It’s all muscle. Not fat!”
