Ivy had formally used her hair clip to hold her hair back, because it always got in her eye. Today, she decided to wear it just for the fun of it. As Ivy reached school, she met one of her friends, Jack, and waved at him. He waved back. Ivy continued walking until she got to her locker. She opened it and looked in the mirror that she had placed in it to readjust her eyepatch. Ivy set her belongings inside her locker, taking the things she needed for the first class, of course, and set off to her class, but first, she wanted to meet her bestie. Vee.

Vee did her usual, grabbing her things, being kind of late to school. A normal day. She heard someone calling for her, sounded like Ivy. So she turned to face her, "Oh, hey Ivy!" She smiled at her best friend, noticing her hair was up. "Oh, you put your hair up! It looks good on you."

”Thanks! I normally put it up because it’s always getting in my good eye.” Ivy itched at her arm a bit and then took the clip out to readjust it, her short hair looking a bit longer because the clip was out; she was due for a hair trim. She put the clip back in after making her hair kinda fluffy. “So uh- How’ve you been this past weekend?” Ivy itched her arm again.

Vee looked at Ivy and watched her mess with her hair, "I've been.. okay. What about you?" Her head slightly tilted to the right. She smiled at Ivy, though.. her face felt slightly warm. Why? That was.. odd. Her face had never felt like that before.. it was probably nothing.

”I’ve been good as well. I made a cool drawing, by the way!” Once again, she itched her arm, but she reached into a folder that she had and pulled out a drawing. “Lookie here!” Ivy itched her arm again.
(The itching is important. It’s not poison ivy *although that would be a HUGE ironic twist*)

Vee silently noted the excessive itching, it was odd for Ivy to do that. Whatever, it probably didn't mean anything. She watched as Ivy pulled out her drawing. "Ooh! It's so good!" She grinned in excitement, the drawing was really good, better than anything she could do.

Vee then noticed Ivy's eye twitching, what was wrong with her? "Are you.. alright?" She was worried for her friend, she normally didn't act like this. So Vee knew something was wrong. And she was going to find out.

Now Vee was even more worried. She knew something was wrong, so why wouldn't Ivy just admit it? "You don't seem like yourself, are you sure?" She kind of reached for Ivy but then pulled her hand away, not completely sure about what she was doing. But something was wrong with Ivy. And she could tell.
