"There are a few ceremonies today for new apprentices that I must conduct. Raccoonkit, Amberkit, step forward please." Once the two young kits had approached the highpeak, Flintstar began the ceremonies.
"Raccoonkit has reached the age of six moons, and it is time for her to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Raccoonpaw. Your mentor will be Maplebriar. I hope she will pass down all she knows on to you." He gave a nod to Maplebriar, before turning to Amberkit. "Amberkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Amberpaw. Your mentor will be Crowtuft. I expect Crowtuft to pass down all he knows on to you." He gave a nod once more to the warrior, signalling for both of the new apprentices to touch noses with their mentors. He gave a moment for the clan to chant the new apprentice's names.

Then, he was ready to continue. "Thornpaw, Stormpaw, Leopardpaw, and Rosepaw, please step forward." A quick glance around assured the tom that the new mentors he had decided for these cats were all present, so he waited the moment for the four cats to step forward.

Leopardpaw blinked as her name was called, her tail twitching in surprise. She stepped forward hesitantly and looked up at Flintstar with a confused gaze, her ears perked and ready for whatever he was going to say.

maplebriar's eyes beamed with pride as she touched noses with racconpaw, happy to have her first apprentice. as they touched noses she saw her apprentices eyes fill with joy also, maplebriar knew that this day would come but now its truly here

Linnetpaw and also Rockclaw applaud her, and the others as Raccoonpaw showed no sign of excitement really even if it was her special day along with others, Linnetpaw on the other hand maybe envied on the others that were becoming warriors, feeling like his mentor was being not a good mentor.

Toadkit was so ashamed to have woken everyone in the nursery like that. As she stalked away toward the barren clearing she spotted something, something with a glint sparkling in the corner of her eye. Without checking to see if anyone was watching, she sprinted off on another late night adventure.

"Stormpaw, your new mentor will be Icedust. I trust she will pass down all that she had learned to you, and serve you well as a mentor."

"Thornpaw, your new mentor will be Jaggedhawk. I trust appointing him as a mentor to you will help you both chill out a little bit."

"Skypelt, you haven't yet mentored an apprentice, so I am trusting you to take over Rosepaw's training as her new mentor."

"This meeting is now dismissed!" With ceremonies completed, the leader leaped down from the highpeak, sitting down in front of his den to watch as the clan dispersed.

The Bengal looked around, spotting Dustbreeze in the crowd. She walked over to the warrior and smiled, leaning up and preparing to touch noses with her. Leopardpaw was glad that she had received Dustbreeze as her mentor, and knew that the she-cat would teach her well.

His eyes widened slightly in astonishment when she called him a "hunk" but a smirk quickly found its way to his maw. "Is that so? Well, guess I'll just have to tone down my extreme handsomeness level a little bit so you remain alive." He then proceeded to make a dramatic show of waving his tail around in the air before he rolled over on his back, looking at the she-cat upside-down with a lopsided grin on his face. "That any better? You think you can live now?" He asked playfully, tail still flicking back and forth in his amusement. As she began to speak about her going on lately, Jaggedhawk contentedly stayed in his position, a light purr coming from his throat as he listened to Icedust ramble on. He was glad nothing bad had happened to her, and everything was simply mundane. He'd have to do something to change that. Mundane was the worst.
When she pinned the question back on him once again though, that is when his purr caught in his throat. He gave a bitter laugh as he sat up, avoiding the white-furred molly's gaze. "You caught me there." He meowed, before letting out a sigh. "I guess I just haven't felt like myself lately, with Passionstar's death, Flintstar's leadership, and... this new alliance, everything seems to be changing all too fast." He then gave Icedust a small, real smile, lime-green eyes holding a little sadness. "I think I just have trouble adjusting."
