Lakepaw twitched her ears. She was curious. Beyond curious, and she wondered why her mentor told her such a thing without giving her a story about it. She wanted to whine like a little kit, but reframed herself from doing such. Instead she got up to her paws and edged closer to her mentor. She had to look up to him with an innocent expression as she asked, ''So...did I do well? What else are we going to practice?'' The small she-cat mused excitedly. She wondered what else her mentor had in store. She silently noted to herself to practice her pouncing and attacking whenever she was alone.

"You did well." He looked up at the sky. It was turning dark. "We need to get back to camp," he said.

WillowBreeze padded into the area, then paused, seeing that LarkCry and LakePaw were there. "Oh, hello" She meowed, flicking her ears. "You two are training? You seem to be improving. Nice job, LakePaw. I saw when you tricked him into pouncing, then swatted at his legs. You caught LarkCry off guard." She praised, aware that the cat wasn't her apprentice, but glad to see improvement in the soon to be warriors. She knew that WindClan needs good warriors, and such skilled cats would help the clan. Twitching her tail, WillowBreeze sat down. Turning to LarkCry, she asked, "Can I watch?"

''Already!'' The small she-cat whined. ''But I want to learn more!'' Upon hearing herself mew as if she were a young kit, she quickly tried to apologize until she noticed Willowbreeze coming forth. The small somali gave the she-cat a sweet smile, and beamed at her for being praised. ''Thank you!'' She said excitedly. ''I'm exciting about becoming a warrior! With a purr of amusement, the she-cat touched the apprentice with her tail lightly for a moment. "Hm..." She muttered. "But, your mentor is right. Back to camp with you." Mewed the cat, then looked at LarkCry. "Fantastic mentoring." The older warrior congratulated. "I wonder..." She added distantly. "Does she... ever... act deceitful?" The question seemed very odd at the moment, and, though LakePaw would never be so, concern shown briefly in the senior cats eyes, as if LakePaw brought back some kind of unusual memories, or perhaps resembled a cat that WillowBreeze resented.

Lakepaw nodded, solemnly. She knew she had to listen to her mentor at all cost, especially if she didn't want to be punished. Though most cats her age wouldn't want to learn anything. She was different. She was ready to soak it in, even if her mind was not that powerful at remembering most things taught to her. She was ready. ''I agree,'' She says proudly. ''He is an excellent mentor!'' And when Lakepaw saw the concerned expression on Willowbreeze's face, she tilted her head to the side, wondering what was wrong with the older she-cat.

Pausing, the senior warrior shook off. "It's nothing. But, LarkCry (@Turtlestrike) I think you should meet with BlazingStar about her and her warrior name."

Lakepaw listened to the two chatter, knowing it was about her. She didn't know what it was about, not knowing the meaning of what was going on. She flattened her ears, ''What's wrong with my name? Did I do something wrong?''

"You and your warrior name, silly. When you become a warrior. Which will be soon." She flicked her ear.
