Beech was born a kittypet and lived that way for many years. Her owners declawed her, forcing her to be without the tools she needs to climb, fight, and do other important tasks as a wild cat. However she became a very skilled hunter by learning to trap food in her paws and kill it with blunt force or a bite. After many moons with her twolegs, they left one day and as always Beech thought they would return. But they never did--her twolegs moved and left her behind. Defenseless because she'd been declawed, Beech nearly starved to death when she was forced to live on her own. She was forced to learn survival the hard way but looks back at that part of her life with fondness because she believes it's what made her who she is today. And Beech loves herself.

Blackkit was named initially for his appearance by his reluctant adoptive father Tideclaw since his coat color is predominately black. Tideclaw named each one of his siblings after their pelt colors, not caring to give them anything unique. When Blackthorn became a Warrior, the Clan Leader named him after his disposition. Blackthorn is a strong-but-silent type who seems prickly on the exterior, but the difficultly of getting on his good side is well worth his friendship.

BACKSTORY
Born to a sickly mother who died shortly after kitting and an absentee father, ThunderClan's Leader entrusted Tideclaw, a harsh but dignified Warrior, with the rearing of Blackkit and his young siblings. Tideclaw did not let his kits show emotion, calling crying a display of weakness and preferring all his adopted children put on the same face for every occasion. This caused severe issues with Blackkit and his siblings since they bottled up their emotions to please Tideclaw. As Blackkit grew older he realized how unhealthy this was and began to pour out his feelings at the grave site of the mother he never knew. Blackthorn was a dutiful Apprentice and was promoted to the rank of Warrior early for exemplary service to ThunderClan and maturity beyond his years. Currently 39 moons old, Blackthorn takes on an Apprentice of his own and hopes to pass on all he knows, including that showing one's emotions is a sign of strength.

Piketooth was raised by two loving mothers, one of which he was biologically related to. He was the only kit in his litter since his mother lost the other kits to too much stress, so both of his moms considered him a miracle. Piketooth was very spoiled as a youth--so spoiled that he grew to think he was better than anybody else. He was bullied frequently by his peers for his jaw deformity, which humbled him even though his moms told him not to mind their mistreatment. Eventually Piketooth became a people-pleaser and found that others enjoyed his company more when he stopped being himself. This saddened his moms, but he continued down that road for the rest of his life until he was killed by a large dog while looking for catmint.

1) When Piketooth is given an Apprentice who takes themself too seriously, Piketooth has a lot of fun messing with them.

3) Piketooth gets resurrected (resurrection card required) and gets a second chance at happiness. After learning his mate is expecting kits, he dies again and this time accepts StarClan as his destiny.

Though Hemlockheart cares very much about his Clanmates, he often doesn't think of the consequences of his actions before he performs them. He has lots of empathy for others and enjoys helping.
BACKSTORY
Hemlockheart was born and raised in ThunderClan but fell in love with Russettail, a RiverClan she-cat. The two of them had kits but Hemlockheart had to hide his affair since he felt guilty for breaking the Warrior Code. It pained him greatly to have no part in his kits' lives but that changed when his daughter Pinewatch left RiverClan to join him.
