Gulp. That answer was pretty much what Leafpaw had expected. She shrank closer to Foxbite's side, keeping her gaze on Blazestar's tail-tip. "Do you think I'm in danger?" she said, so softly it was almost a whisper. "I called him out during the battle. If he does have a gang of cats who get rid of who he tells them to... I might be next on his list."
She has startled to see how scared this made. Usually, if it was her parents, they'd only get mad at her for a few minutes and then it'd blow over. But with Blazestar... well, the Clan leader looked like the type to hold a grudge.

Leafpaw froze, one paw suspended in mid-air. She turned wide, frightened eyes on Foxbite. "Why? What did she do?" Had she attacked him? Shifted again into that demonic form like she had the first time she and Leafpaw's mentor had dueled? Had she disobeyed him, somehow?

Foxbite looked at her in confusion. "You were there, too. When Bramblepaw challenged Blazestar and they fought. I'm still surprised at how she got up after that wound!"
