Dawnstar wanted more warriors. It was the thought that plagued this quiet and peaceful night. But the more she relied on her actual warriors to get their training done the more disappointed she became. She knew a lot of the lack of training with apprentices was their mentors' fault, but she's seen more than a few apprentices actively seek out training from different warriors, as they should. So the whole excuse that their mentor isn't training them was nothing more than an excuse. They had as many lazy apprentices as they did mentors! It was inexcusable.

So Dawnstar decided to make sure that these apprentices didn't have any excuse to use it anymore. Cause she was getting tired of it. There were paws like Eggpaw who should have been well-trained already and already assessed. So she was going to give them all a chance to train, she was going to turn these lazy furballs into actual warriors.

She was going to be so livid if they didn't participate and then when she was stuck reassigning them or learning that they were behind on their training... Feelings of frustration bubbling in her chest, Dawnstar raked her claws across the wall of her den as she padded out into the clearing.

"Warriors and apprentices! Wake up! We're going training!" Dawnstar yowled in the quiet camp, obviously uncaring about whose sleep she disturbed. It was the dead of night and she felt it was perfect to cover some of ShadowClan's training requirement for apprentice.

"We'll be covering ambush techniques with some battle training mixed in and then wrapping it up with frog hunting, and if you haven't utterly disappointed me by then I may be inclined to teach you something extra before return to camp." It depended on how this whole lesson went. But between what she was willing to cover now it should take care of three of five requirements.

Startled awake out of his cozy nest in the apprentice's den, Deerpaw only belatedly understood Dawnstar was calling for training... in the middle of the night. Now, Deerpaw had some reservations, yes, but it would look really bad if someone like them, with half a hunting lesson and only one patrol to their name, ignored a training summons like this from none other than his own leader. So, tiered muscles begging to stay in bed, Deerpaw pushed himself to standing, shook out his fluffy pelt, and pushed his way out of the den.

Spotting Dawnstar, her huge form unmistakable even in the dark of night, Deerpaw quickly wandered up to where he saw other cats gathering, intending to blend into the crowd as best as he could.

Starrylight scrambled over, half asleep as she joined the training quickly.

Yellowpaw, well awake, Silently and carefully trotted over to the giant cloud of cats, his eyes gleaming. This was sure to be entertaining! after what seemed like moons and moons of boredom, something interesting just happened to pop up right in front of him. and, he was being trained by Dawnstar herself! He would learn so much necessary stuff, perfect for winning battles. Or any of those things, isn't important what he did, as long as it got him what he wanted.

Listening to what Dawnstar had announced he continued approaching until he reached where he was going.

The Charcoal tabby turned around as he heard Dawnstar shout into the Clearing, quirking a brow at the tone. Oh. She seemed rather mad, and he hadn't even done anything yet. A burr in her nest? Perhaps simply the wrong side of the nest? Either way, Eveningpaw was looking forward to it.

Picking himself up, the Apprentice made his way towards the gathering crowd. Awaiting to hear instructions. After all he was wide awake, this was his time. The chill and quiet of the night was his domain.

Nighthound, having taken his usual post as a night guard, turned to watch Dawnstar as she called for the Clan's warriors and apprentices. His ear flicked- training at night? He didn't mind that. Regardless of being an Enforcer, it was always good to touch up on skills. So, he stood and approached the growing group, remaining silent as he took note of who was joining- glad that he saw Eveningpaw approach as well.
