A playful smile formed on Blazingstar's face as he came face to face with Cinderblaze. He sat himself down and waved his tail across the grass like a dog. It was a friendly gesture and his eyes were bright despite the unamused tone in this one's voice.

"Ohhh, a former ShadowClanner? What was that like when you were alive? Is your territory really as dark as everyone claimed it to be? ShadowClan and I were on good terms back in my day so I can't quite recall. Never had to go over there," Blazingstar started rambling before realizing he was being rude.

"Apologies! I'm Blazingstar, former WindClan leader!" He finally introduced himself with a chirping voice.

echoheart opened her eyes, seeing the star filled sky and the sweet smell of pray, it was warm and everything. and fear and horror filled her mind. she was dead....SHE WAS DEAD!? "no- no nono, mosskit! MY MOSSKIT" she yowled in a pained hurt. spottedfur padded from behind echoheart "welcome my dear..." he meowed with a sad tone. "calm down. calm down." he put his tail on her back as she crouched down and sobbed "you will watch him grow. you will send signs for him....you will take care of him even if he cant see you my dear." spottedfur purred. "but..." echoheart hiccupped. "no buts sweetie...your dead and death comes by when it wants. calm down and watch as your kit makes a change on the clans." he explained with a smile "watch as every kit from every clan makes a change, a change so big...it wont make us see the battles today." echoheart sighed and leaned into the elder. "we are stars now. and one day he will join you, he wont be a paw or a kit but a adult who can care for himself." spottedfur gave echoheart a lick before they both padded away, so he could show her around her new home.

Was he procrastinating? Most certainly. This was not a plan he could simply make instantaneously, it would require careful consideration with near flawless execution to accompany it. No. It had to be flawless. Of course, this type of thing puts a lot of stress on a cat, and although he works well under pressure, he works best with a clear head. He needed to go out collecting anyways. Textbook procrastination.

Picking his way through the tall grass, the little tomkit scoured the ground. He’d have to settle for staying close to home this time, no use for Riverclan in getting lost wandering for moons, especially not when there was such a heavy time limit on your actions. Collecting wasn’t as fun as it used to be, it used to be almost like magic, finding new things about his surroundings, and showing Vinewatcher what he had discovered. Dead beetles, moths, feathers. Simple things brought so much excitement to him. That was back when breathing was an option. Sootkit huffed with irritation, such a puny kit he was. The runt. A mere cold ended his hopes at life. Honestly, even though Fishflake was a disappointment, he made it all the way to warrior hood, something Sootkit would never achieve. What would his warrior name have been anyways? A small smile escaped from his maw. Such a kit way to think. Question a future you will never have. How dumb.

..Sootspider would be kinda cool though.

With her group of trainees having been taught all she'd intended to share, and that no further questions were asked, Coldamber allowed them all to drift off into true slumbers and rest for whatever their days had ahead of them.
Seabreeze was the last to go, as she'd kept him to answer questions he'd had.
Once she was alone, and the sense of joy she'd felt at getting to teach, at having students who asked questions, her shoulders sagged and her head bowed.
Idly, she wondered if this was enough, and couldn't help but wish that she could see more immediate results in her efforts. It wasn't as if her own time was limited, but there was always a sense of urgency when it came to the living.
With a sigh, she lifted her head, ears twitching. She gave herself a moment to simply breathe, and relax to the best of her ability until she was needed again.

In quiet corners of the misty places of starclan a great deal of words had been exchanged of late.

These words were beyond the normal judgement of souls, wishing to escape their death and beyond even the recent turmoil of starclan and the dark forest and had culminated here today with an odd duo trekking through the territory. It was rare to see most wardens not absorbed in their duties, as they usually kept to themself either tired of the masses in starclan or in an almost noble attempt to remain unbiased to everyone who may eventually come for their decisions on their life. It was rarer still to see a member of the dark forest with them, even if this one was a warden himself and permitted to be here, as evidenced by the ex medicine cat escorting him.


But these were rare circumstances, and there were much worse cats who could be by Barkblazes side.
"I find myself somewhat surprised you are my partner on this venture Lichenflood. I vastly prefer you over the alternative but I was certain Magpiewisp or Snowleopard would snap up the opportunity. Though I suppose for your.... circumstances you are more fitting."
The old tom expected no response but took whatever came with a mere flick of the ear, the two windclan toms keeping in step even as Barkblaze (by grace of belonging here and knowing the territory) directed their path. He had a vague idea of where their target may be, words passed on by others and glances caught, and it seemed this was correct as cresting the hill the two saw what they came here for.

Coldamber was wrapping up a dream.

She'd get but a moment as Barkblaze held back to let the last of the living wisp away before a flicked tail indicated for Lichenflood to follow him and the two approached.
"Coldamber. Youve found yourself a neat little niche in your students and despite all odds havent given up even as they consistently dont shape up. I find myself impressed, if curious as to why."
Her words wouldnt really effect much, the council had reached a decision on her fate, but the two toms wouldnt really be wardens if they did not needle and pry and Barkblaze knew Lichenflood would have words of his own.

Lichenflood - Dark Forest Spirit - Ancient WindClan Warrior

He hated this place more than anything, but alas there was a task that required his presence and it was none other than Barkblaze who was his companion. Lichenflood didn't really have an issue with the ancient medicine cat - they were at least from the same Clan. The large tabby gave a grunt in acknowledgement. "Magpiewisp seems wrapped up in RiverClan affairs lately - although I don't know why he keeps wasting his time with that fatuous group of rogues. Let them sink for all I care." That wasn't even a Clan in his eyes anymore. To the rest of what the StarClanner said he just shrugged. "You might have stars in your fur and I, shadows in mine. But we're the same when it comes to Clan loyalty."

Worded faded to the wayside now as the two spirits set their sights on none other than Coldamber. Another WindClanner, and one that Lichenflood had been curious about. A cat whose familiar connections had extended past her own Clan while she had been alive. "As do I. You treat them much like a mother would her children... your commitment to them never wavering. Do you never tire?" His voice was deep and low as he stopped beside Barkblaze, peering at the former medicine cat with narrowed green eyes, a thoughtful expression on his face.
