Streampelt was looking around for a Thunderclan cat to fight when he was barreled into by a cat. He realized it was a Thunderclan cat. Hissing, he untangled himself from the cat and aimed a paw swipe at the cat's muzzle.

Fiercepaw spotted a cat not far away, close to the nursery. It was the Thunderclan cat that had been close to the white scarred cat that seemed to be the one ordering everyone. Snarling, Fiercepaw leaped towards the cat, claws unsheathed and her teeth bared. She was aiming for the cat's back.

Letting out a soft snarl as Streampelt was able to land one or two blows on her muzzle, Shadowheart pulled herself back from the cat before aiming a blow on his shoulders.

Of course no one cared. ,, , It seemed RiverClan had already taken the cove. She was in a emotional riptide of anger, shock, sadness.. For a few long moments while the battle rages on, while her clanmates are fighting for the sake of honoring their dead,.. she's practically in a complete state of panic. The hyperventilating continues- worries then start to pile up, making a wall. She tried to take some deep breaths, but those fail. .. . more time passes, .. then the she-cat finally starts to calm down.

Right then, the warrior known as Lizardfrost was able to get some rather strong strikes on her clanmates. it was so scary how weak Geckosprout seemed at the blows. then .,, the RiverClanner straight up ,, delivered the killing slash. "NOO! St- stop!!"

Icicleripple ran into the medicine den, quickly getting out cobwebs, marigold and some wet moss. Yet. She could then tell he was already dead. that,, scent.

Streampelt glad that he had managed to land the blows and that no blood seemed to be appearing, hissed as he felt pain in his shoulder. He looked at it for a brief moment before breathing deeply as he saw a bit of blood there. He cleared his head of everything except to fight this cat and he aimed a blow at the cat's chest, hoping to tumble them over.

Between the soil and the skyline turned a great and powerful mind which had belonged to a Warrior greater and more powerful still. Looncry wasn't wrong to be shocked--Whitewolf was kind. In a desperate attempt to hold onto the Clan she loved, since Kestrelstar had told them he'd consider their "debt repaid" if they didn't fight his takeover of Firefly Cove, she had advised her clanmates to surrender (though in a manner far from the way she would have done it if her state of mind was much improved). But even that recommendation had betrayed Whitewolf's true desire.

Something clicked in the senior Warrior's mind as she held Looncry to the ground, letting him tear into her flesh but holding him into the dirt still as stone. She could be shredded and minced for all she cared; she'd shed more RiverClan blood then whatever she lost. The Warriors and Apprentices who'd joined Kestrelstar on his depraved agenda were outside the Warrior Code. All of them were asking for death.

Whitewolf found herself fighting a battle she didn't believe in--strange that she no longer cared. She no longer cared because, even though she'd thought peace was the better option, seeing the fear in Looncry's eyes as she crushed him to the ground felt good. Watching as the air left his lungs and he desperately attempted to break free felt good. And beneath the shell of what had been--the honorable, generous provider of a senior Warrior that some of ThunderClan had dared to love--emerged an enormous, hulking beast, hungry for the blood of her enemies and all that failed to heed her words and actions.

The waves of fear and hostility and conflict had revealed what was perhaps Whitewolf's true and terrifying nature. It was her loved ones who wondered whether this monster of a cat that'd appeared lately on several occasions was the real her rather than the honest and loyal Warrior of yesteryear. But Whitewolf knew and embraced the truth she'd seen emerge throughout these past few moons. Her fangs were for ThunderClan; her claws were for ThunderClan, and if she could not protect them with peace then she would be their beast.

As Looncry drew blood, Whitewolf attempted to cover his face with a large paw. She fully intended to push him into the dirt, knowing if she could turn him around onto his stomach the battle would be over and she could try incapacitating him. An annoyed huff escaped her broad chest when she noticed a younger cat leaping at her--this one probably had little to no fighting experience. Oh, well. It was Flypaw's fault for trying a senior Warrior.

The Apprentice-aged she-cat was slow and moved sloppily. It almost felt too easy for Whitewolf to try and sink her long teeth into the youngun's shoulder, and if she didn't miss, it'd make the perfect opportunity to start tearing her leg apart. The Apprentice wanted battle so Whitewolf would show her what a real fight looked like.

Silently, she cursed her reflexes. Being thrown into a tumble from the blow Streampelt had landed on her chest it made her feel like the wind had been knocked out of her. Trying to stumble back onto her paws while attempting to catch her breath, each coming out in soft hisses, it felt the world was spinning around her at first. Once she was able to stand back up properly, she narrowed her eyes at the cat that had landed the blow, her chest aching as she attempted to throw herself back at him and slash his haunches.

As Whitewolf leaped into the fray, Pearface hesitated. She could feel a kit inching toward the clearing from behind her, and she bit back an alarmed yowl for it to stay back. Flicking her tail out to block its path, she glanced back, however momentarily, before training her gaze back on the battle before her. “Shadowkit.” She hissed at the curious blind kit. “Stay back.”

The small tom tipped his head in a pout, ears flattening against his head as a screech ripped through the clearing. “But- But I want to fight!” He didn’t understand what was so wrong - RiverClan was invading his home, and he had claws and teeth ready to assist in making sure ThunderClan would win this bloodbath!

“Shadowkit.” Pearface gritted her teeth, digging her claws into the ground. “The answer is no.” Did she really have to explain herself to this insolent kit? Surely he had some sense. “You will die if you step out here. These are ruthless killers, and in the heat of battle, they won’t care how old you are while snapping your spine in half.” Minty green eyes flashed as Pearface snarled, scanning the clearing for any clanmates who might need help fighting off their RiverClan foes.

Something had finally gotten through the small black tom’s delusions - the prospect of death. “O-Okay, Pearface-“ Shadowkit shrank back as a yowl, brimming with pain, sliced through the air. “I’m sorry-“ Without another word, he turned tail and fled back into the depths of the nursery. Where was mothe- Cedarsong? She would protect him, right?

Preoccupied with the kit’s antics, Pearface didn’t notice the cat hurdling toward her. Claws pricked her skin, and she whipped around, attempting to shake the smaller cat off. If she could manage that, she’d swipe at the cat’s shoulder. She didn’t want to do too much damage to what seemed like an apprentice, but there was no way in hell the younger cat was harming the kits or queens sheltering behind her.

Icespark braced herself for anyone to attack, unsheathing her claws, she smiled, a cruel smile. She didn’t care how many cats got hurt, as long as ThunderClan was torn to shreds.

Woodheart glanced around nervously. Oh no, oh no, oh no He thought dreadingly. Was he going to find his sister here? How many cats would get hurt?

DawnKit slowly exited the nursery. Fighting!? “I want to fight too!”

[ Just a warning from here on out - Kestrelstar has claws laced with deathberry juice, so any claw hits that land will cause anywhere from mild to severe illness, or perhaps even death ]

So the claws really did work... the realization fully sunk in and Kestrelstar grinned. Looking at Silverdust he aimed a few more swiped in her direction, one to the face and the other to her chest. "You're low enough to kill a former medicine cat and former leader? And then slaughter apprentices and warriors alike on peaceful patrols?," he shot back, eyes narrowed into slits.

On his other side, this apprentice was getting on his nerves. Kestrelstar wanted him gone. Out of RiverClan, out of the Clans for good. Betraying his Clan and attacking his leader? What kind of almost warrior did such a thing? Why was he even here in the first place if he wasn't going to fight ThunderClan?

With a snarl the leader twisted as he felt Reedpaw manage to land on his back. The move was a bit sloppy, and Kestrelstar reached around with his head in an attempt to sink his jaws into the apprentices' forleg to yank him off. Enough pressure was applied that if it landed, not only would it rip the tom from his back it would severely injure his leg - hopefully to the point that the traitorous rat would just leave.
