It had been forever since Asterpaw had been surrounded by Clan cats, and so far, he was totally digging the familiarity. Although, he had to admit, it did feel a little awkward to be surrounded by Clan cats he had no previous knowledge of.
He sat in the far corner of WindClan's camp, watching everyone talk and bustle about. He could only hope that ceremony Twilightstar had mentioned would happen soon. He was starting to get uncomfortable with the whole "not really part of the Clan yet" situation.

Creekpaw laughed a bit with his mentor but, just before he yelped as he was thrown off. Falling on his side but, quickly scrambling up. Pushing off with his hind legs, the speedy apprentice bolted towards his mentor, jumping over them at the last second. He hoped he had scared him a bit, and it would be funny if he did. "Thanks, I'm proud of myself too." He chuckled arrogantly, bouncing around a little bit as he said so.

As she was just about to leave, the deputy asked her if he could do anything for her. She looked at the tom with a slightly confused gaze. Don't the warriors do things for the deputies? Like, I get deputies doing things for queens and elders but, other warriors? "Um.. I'm fine at the moment." She stood awkwardly in front of him.

Turnipleaf's hare clamped in their jaws was a small prelude for what the remainder of the voluntary patrol would be bringing back with them, and they glanced over their shoulder to ensure the coyote-parade was still incoming as expected. A small smile crossed their muzzle, and they padded forward into camp with a hint of more pride, setting the hare down into the fresh-kill pile.

"We've returned with a hare and coyote," they mentioned, seeking out Brindlejaw in the clearing. A tad drier and with a crooked grin, they commented, "Slim pickings." They could have been more formal in that but didn't think much of it, didn't think much of Brindlejaw after a tainted view of authority didn't help his case.

Oddeyes nodded. "I understand. An apprentice is a bit of a commitment. Need some honey for your throat? I can get some, if you like." She sat up and stretched her old legs.

Aspenbreeze cringed as his paw touched her cheek, her lips curled back into a snarl,

"Don't forget that you came over here. Quit making yourself out to be a victim.. like I'm the one that ruined you," She scoffed in disbelief, turning to stalk barely a paw-step away after the discarded piece of prey, attempting to thwack him with her tail in the process.

"Please... At least the 'vile crow' doesn't get walked all over - you think I want to sit here and listen you complain like a queen with a sore belly all day long? You want that 'sugary little she-cat' back? Why don't you do something about it? You want to be useful again..? DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, OAKSTING." Brows furrowed in frustration, she hooked the prey with a single claw, scanning to make sure it hadn't been scuffed up too badly to eat.

"Now.. are you going to let me finish my damn meal.. or are we going to be standing here all day?"

The tom coughed again raising a paw to his throat. He’d needed to find an alternative to this. Coyotesnarl couldn’t be doing his job with barely a voice. “Yes please” he grunted under his breath and squinted his eyes before blinking away the tears.

Oaksting wasn't gentle in his yowl for the leader, hobbling into her den without so much as a request. His legs were killing him and he was ANGRY.

With a certain tortoiseshell tom.

"What the hell kinda deputy did you hire? It's one thin' to make up cats like 'Ravenpaw', it's another damn thing to ignore the cats tryna question it! He's off his rocker, and somethin' ought to be done about him before he sends more imaginary cats on patrols and keeps disregardin' us concerned Clan-mates!"

He scowled as he finished, expectant gaze on the leader.

[ @Moonraven, for reference ravenpaw wasn't roleplayed despite being submitted (and was requested removal) so she never existed to save space for cats who would actually be remembered. ]

cherrypaw closed her eyes and smiled with a sigh, "I'm sorry sparrowpaw, I really didn't mean to hurt your feelings..." she tried to assure the little molly, "just don't take anything I say personally ok..?" cherrypaw pulled away and nudged the fluffy apprentices chest, "do you want to head home..?" she tilted her head slightyly
