The large silver bundle of fur slowly rolled over so that her paws were beneath her, before she rose to a standing position as elegantly as she could - though she still failed to look very graceful, and it was obvious where her struggles lied. Turning around to face the other cat, she quickly became aware that the she-cat bared the same scent as the cat from earlier; Owlflame had been mistaken to brush her scent off originally. It could have saved both of them the trouble, and perhaps given them a greater chance of bringing the pheasant back rather than allowing it to disappear amongst the trees. She sighed, lashing her densely furred tail a few times as she internally scolded herself. Marigold eyes settled on the she-cat once more, and she quickly realised how different the two of them were. The she-cat before her had a slender build with neatly groomed fur, composed of a much more vivid mix of brown colours. She moved with grace and poise, Owlflame's greatest envy, and she spoke with a sense of eloquence Owlflame couldn't even imagine mastering.

"Well my apologies, I should have been more careful to inspect the pheasant - perhaps then I would have seen your name on it," She retorted, voice laced with thick sarcasm as her large form lowered down into a more comfortable sitting position. "I'm Owlflame," She begun, dipping her head politely to the she-cat, "And what name does a pretty she-cat like yourself have?" She spoke with an aura of confidence, putting her best efforts into coming across as charming. She supposed it would be best to make light of the situation, relieved by the fact the she-cat didn't seem too bothered by the previous sequence of events. Most cats would have become irritable, angry at best, so Owlflame saw this as an opportunity to at least have some fun. "I simply must make it up to you, any suggestions on how I could go about doing that?" She remarked, a playful tint resting within her marigold gaze. It had been a while since the large feline had truly relaxed with another warrior, so it was a chance she would be neglectful to let go of.

The amount of sarcasm that sugar-coated the she-cats reply merely enticed Dawnfrost. Her spotted thin tail flicked with amusement as she purred in response. “Well, Owlflame, you may address me as Dawnfrost.” Her icy blue orbs flashed as she checked out the fellow SkyClanner once more. “Me? Pretty? Nonsense.” Dawnfrost stood and elegantly padded closer to Owlflame. “You're one to talk with all that moonlight-colored fur. You're practically glowing, compared to me.” She stopped before they were nose to nose, then pulled back in order to take a seat in front of her. She admired the amount of confidence Owlflame spoke in, which encouraged her even more to keep the playful conversation going. “You wish to repay me? Gosh, I don't think anything could replace my special pheasant…” The bengal stood once more. “After all, it did have my name on it.” It seemed impossible for Dawnfrost to get the smirk off her muzzle. She was really enjoying this. How could they have never met before? Dawnfrost couldn't even remember seeing her around, which was embarrassing, because of how unique this she-cat looked. Surely she won't forget her.

“But,” The lithe brown she-cat purred again, “Perhaps I could forgive you if you accompany me on my hunt for another prey?” Dawnfrost finally managed her smirk-locked muzzle to relax and put on a friendly smile. She chuckled a little at how silly they were being, yet so seriously at the same time. Ah, how she loved sarcasm. “Since we both suck at hunting so much, how about he work together? I promise I won't crash into you as hard this time.” Dawnfrost rounded her eyes at Owlflame, hoping she'd accept the offer. Being this deep into a conversation had to be a recipe for something special. Owlflame was such a delight to talk to, and she'd love to know more about her. This surely would end up being Dawnfrost's favorite encounters. Even if it started out with a crash.

Owlflame purred, an amused look brightening up her features. It had been such a long time since she had interacted with someone who understood her level of humour - sarcasm was not many cat's socialising preference. The silvery she-cat found that hard to believe, given how often she tried to use it in conversation; it had become her natural dialect, one could say. Dawnfrost She repeated the name in her head, confident in the idea she would be seeing more of the beautiful she-cat. It had been such a long time, moons at least, since Owlflame had actually flirted with a she-cat. It was certainly hard to believe that the stunning umber feline was so willing to retort her flirtatious comments. Her marigold eyes remained alight with curiosity, a passionate desire to keep the interaction flowing impacting her every move. "Excuse you, I do not suck at hunting. In fact, I'd say I'm the best hunter in all of Skyclan," She responded, confident playfulness wavering in her strong tone of voice, as she tilted her head to one side - as if to mimic herself in deep thought. "But, how could I say no to such a pretty face? Besides, it's clear to me you could use the help," The confident she-cat articulated, voice still laced with sarcasm - but quiet elation remained just audible within her tone. She was genuinely happy to be getting along with someone so well, so naturally; their senses of humours flowed so instinctively, it was a pity it had taken so long for the two of them to meet.

Owlflame rose to her feet, amused by the difference in stature between her and Dawnfrost, as her dandelion eyes gazed down into the stunning icy eyes staring back at her. For a moment, she simply stood studying Dawnfrost's features, drinking in her unfamiliar scent. It was sweet, almost like newly sprouted wildflowers in the spring - their scent was unique and vibrant, and yet subtle and not overbearing. Owflame liked it; she liked Dawnfrost. Suddenly ambling off to Dawnfrost's left, she took a few large strides before casting her gaze back to the chestnut she-cat, "Are you coming? I'd carry you, darling, but I question if it's very practical for hunting," She teased, a smirk ever present on her pale features. Her tail swayed back and forth leisurely, her muscles relaxed and loose. "Oh, and just for the record - that whole....charade," She began, gesturing with her head to where the two of them had collided, "Was entirely your fault." She joked, mock-seriousness on her face as she eyed the she-cat up playfully; teasing and mockery were the centre pieces for her displays of affection, and she rarely got to use them so freely without the fear of upsetting the cat in question. This opportunity was not to be wasted, and Owlflame knew that. Her exuberant smirk remained ever present on her maw, a spirited energy resting within her marigold gaze as she awaited a response from Dawnfrost.

If he could, he would've tried, but it was impractical here and he wasn't going to sneak onto another territory. He cleared his thoughts and continued to follow Crowfoot out into the territory.

"Of course I have," he replied with a small smirk, nodding his head in agreement to the last part. He smoothed his pelt a bit, excited to be able to hunt. He had toned it down a bit, with all the drama that had happened, but now that it was relatively calm, he could finally relax a bit.
( Ah, it's fine! Sorry about all the jumping around, btw. They're moving around quite a bit )

"I knew I could trust you." he nudged his brother by the shoulder, glancing up at the tree tops and squinting his eyes at the sunlight that shimmered through the canopy. The piebald tom sighed contentedly, looking for the perfect tree to scale. "Lovely weather, today. I've always been quite scrupulous when it comes to weather patterns," he bragged, lowering himself into a crouch and launching himself upwards at the tree's trunk. Latching onto the bark with his claws and hoisting himself further up, he finally rested atop the lowest hanging branch. "You know, I'd say I haven't got all day, but we really do," he purred downwards at his littermate, tail suspended and hanging downwards with a playful twitch. "I'm sure I can be patient."

@~Northern_Lights~

Dawnfrost was almost astonished by how flirtatious this she-cat was being. She couldn't remember the last time she’d been flirted with by another she-cat, it always seemed like only males were attracted to her. This moment was so special to Dawnfrost, her fur almost bristled on end, but she managed to keep her poise during the entire conversation. This was all second nature to her, anyways, so there was no sweat when it came to flirting. When Owlflame mocked her hunting skills, that playful smirk returned to her white muzzle within seconds. “My fault?” Dawnfrost snickered at her acquaintance’s ridiculous claim. “Oh, please. Last time I checked, I’m the best hunter in all of SkyClan.” She padded after the largely gorgeous she-cat, lightly dragging her long soft tail along Owlflame’s cheek as she passed her. “However, if you’re so eager to prove me wrong, then please,” Dawnfrost bowed in front of the she-cat. “Humor me.” That last sentence rumbled up a deep flirtatious purr within her chest. Her blue eyes are glossed up at Owlflame, reading her every expression. It was obvious how passionate she was about sarcasm- the look on her face practically mirrored Dawnfrost’s as they retorted back and forth. She straightened herself as they continued their walk, making sure to remain graceful the entire time. Her grace has become an art she promised to perfect, so using it now was an excellent time, in her opinion.

As they walked, Dawnfrost couldn't help but notice how they kept staring at each other. She decided to take this as another opportunity to tease. “What are you looking at? Is there something on my pelt?” She looked at her flank, examining it dramatically. “Or are you reconsidering on carrying me?” The brown she-cat chuckled, tilting her head in amusement and interest at Owlflame. Before the she-cat could respond, Dawnfrost quickly added, “Perhaps it's best you focus on the hunt, my dear, because thats way more of a practical hunting technique.” She turned her gaze to focus on the path before them, hiding a flirtatious, yet smug, look on her face. One of her large ears angled with interest in what the silver maine coon had to say next.

(It's no problem!)

Dogcry smiled slightly. "It is nice out," he agreed, it was nice and warm, sunlight shining down on his black and white pelt. He glanced at the trees, deciding on a strong-looking one close to Crowfoot's and latched his claws into the bark, climbing quickly due to his experience. He curled his tail slightly. "You were saying?" He remarked from his own branch, raising an eyebrow playfully.

The tom purred playfully as Dogcry scaled his own tree, purposefully choosing a branch that was mouse-lengths higher than his. Crowfoot glanced upwards at the black and white tom, one eye narrowed in an inquisitive fashion. "I sense a bit of a challenge," he meowed without hesitation, hoisting himself further up his own tree to get ahead. Being of the same litter, it wasn't too hard to believe that they both excelled at climbing, though Crowfoot was the bigger show-off. He lived to take risks, and most of the time he'd completely ignore the consequences. This was just a bit of family fun, so how bad could it be?

Crowfoot let a paw dangle slovenly as he rested his chin on the branch, looking down at his now disadvantaged brother. He wasn't the biggest fan of scaling trees due to his size, but he was definitely a good branch-hopper. It had been a while since he'd seen his sibling in action, so he wondered what tactics the piebald tom would use against him.

Dogcry was never one to deny a challenge, smirking as he quickly scaled his tree, his claws sinking into the bark as he hoisted him up the tree, used to scaling the tall plant. He leapt from-branch to branch when they were close enough together. He bit his lip slightly, concentrating on scaling the tree. His tail flicked slightly behind him as he finally got to around the height his brother was at, perhaps a bit lower.

It reminded him of apprenticehood, almost. He used to like to scale trees with the other apprentices. Dogcry panted slightly, he hadn't done that in awhile, and his legs slightly protested the quick actions. He grinned over at his brother, his oddly colored eyes scanning the territory for a moment from the view, enjoying the sight. He curled his tail and let his claws sink into the bark a bit.

Crowfoot's blue and yellow eyes gleamed as he watched Dogcry scale the branches of his own tree, getting riskier as he leapt upwards and found himself closer to his brother's level. "Touché, dear brother. I'm sure this puts both of us at a disadvantage..." The piebald tom was always more fond of springing from branch to branch, having the size and musculature to keep himself from falling to the forest floor. His brother may as well have been an extension of himself, they both shared a similar size, and they both enjoyed exercise just as much. For Crowfoot, however, he found it more enjoyable with friends and especially family.

Standing himself back up, the black and white tom trailed along his branch, claws scraping by the bark just in case he slipped. His littermate's branch was lower, it seemed, so this feat wouldn't be so hard to pull off. In fact, he used a similar method to catch birds. Crouching down with his tail raised in the air, he leapt downwards and shook the branch that Dogcry had challenged him on, settling himself down with a purr. "Maybe you'd prefer for a horizontal challenge, rather than a vertical one?"

Owflame purred teasingly, raising her brow whiskers questioningly at Dawnfrost's claim; so she was the best hunter in Skyclan, was she? The large she-cat couldn't help but find the graceful she-cat ever so cute, helped by the way their interactions came almost like second nature. Dawnfrost and her clicked on a level Owlflame had never achieved with anyone else before, so the maine coon knew it was essential she did her absolute best to keep the conversation running. First impressions were the most important, after all. A flirtatious smirk returned to her silvery features, a deep rumble escaping her as she was almost surprised by Dawnfrost's words. "Humor you? I will do more than humor you, my dear; I will give you the title of 'Second best hunter in all of Skyclan'," She retorted, certainly not her best but it would do - the sarcasm and flirting came naturally to her, but having a she-cat respond with such wit and flirtiness was certainly new territory for her. One could say she was a little worried, given how desperately she wanted things to continue going as well as they were. She walked alongside Dawnfrost, close enough to her that the tips of her lengthy fur gently skimmed Dawnfrost's much shorter umber fur. Owlflame failed to realise this, though, and so continued walking like this. Her marigold gaze often drifted to the stunning bengal beside her, as if the silvery feline was trying to memories each and every one of Dawnfrost's beautiful features - scared she may not get another opportunity. But it would appear the glances went both ways, as Owlflame found out each time her daffodil eyes met alluring aquamarine ones. Dawnfrost was likely to be the most goregous she-cat Owlflame had ever seen, and she deeply regretted now having their paths meet sooner.

She felt her pelt heat up, a rare occurrence by all standards, as Dawnfrost mentioned her not-so-sneaky glances, marigold gaze drifting for a moment as Owlflame collected herself. "Not at all, my dear, I merely keep losing myself in those beautiful eyes of yours," She outwardly flirted, winking as charmingly as she could at Dawnfrost, hoping her comeback had covered up her previous blushing; she had a record for not blushing, and she couldn't allow it to be diminished now. Her next comment on Owlflame reconsidering carrying her had the brawny she-cat ready to respond, but she was quickly cut off by the flirtatious bengal once again. A curious look appeared in her marigold eyes, as she examined Dawnfrost, surprised by her words. Her response was good, articulate too, and Owlflame found herself having to pause to think of a response. "I suppose you're right, after all, you would know. Because, of course, had you not been so taken aback by my unbelievable beauty, you'd have been paying enough attention to the hunt to know not to pounce at the same time as me. I'll be careful not to make the same mistake," She bragged, the sarcasm of her voice so natural it was easy to see why some cats couldn't tell the difference between her normal tone and her sarcastic one. Owlflame was confident Dawnfrost would be able to, though. She flicked her tail smugly, a confident smirk still present on her features. At this point, it hardly even faltered. "So, my dear, what shall we hunt?"
