Owlfang's eyes wrinkled and he suddenly felt aged, seeing such a young cat so hopeful and motivated. He was still all of those things too, but seeing Dovekit was... revitalizing. "Nothing bad, don't worry," Owlfang reassured, "just that Palestream was worried about you when you were little. The whole clan was relieved when you got better, and it'll just be all the more exciting when you do get to go out as an apprentice! And I don't think Fallenstsr would do that, he can recognise a promising apprentice when he sees one. I mean, he made me a warrior, so we already know he has impeccable taste." Owlfang flicked Dovekit with his tail in a friendly way, in an attempt to reassure the young she-cat.

Owlfang poked his head through the entrance of the den, hoping he was loud enough in his approach that he wasn't intruding, looking either for Hollydawn or Splashpool. The smell of kits and the nursery was a nostalgic scent, and he was glad that the nursery had been kept comfortable for the queens. He spotted his calico friend, and purred in amusement seeing her speaking with a tiny kit. Owlfang always thought she would be great with kits, while he himself was always a little bit afraid he might... sit on them or something.

Splashpool looked at her best friend with a light purr. "Well hello Owlfang." meowed the queen with a slight smile. The she-cat sat up, stretching out her front paws as her belly touched the ground.

"I'd like that too, Dovekit." He was pulled out of his thoughts after a few seconds by a friendly mew. Owlfang looked happily at Splashpool who had caught his attention, "Hello Splashpool." His eyes rested on her belly for a moment, noticing she was showing, and he beamed at her happily, but didn't comment. He nudged Dovekit and whispered faux-secretly, as if conspiring, "This is Splashpool, she's going to be having my kits. I'll have a word with Fallenstar about me mentoring you if you give Splashpool extra special treatment when you do your apprentice duties."

Dovekit excitedly whisked her tail across the ground. "I'll bring her fresh-kill even now! I'll do my very best!" she promised. She scampered out of the nursery wall heading toward the fresh-kill pile. 'I'll get Splashpool and Palestream their own fish!'

Dovekit returned dragging two fish by their tails. "I've got - mrrrhw!-
a fish for - hmph - each of you!" she beamed proudly as she left one fish in front of Splashpool and drug the other to Palestream.

Cocoaheart looked down at the black to kit, she finely knew what it was he was talking about and it pained her. What could she do? He'd lost his four siblings and that was haunting him. "You, know what I learned when I was younger?" The molly asked tilting her head slightly. She was going to tell Batkit one of the most valued thing she had taught herself. "I've learned that, you don't have to care or worry about what other cats think of you. Even if their in StarClan, sometimes what you think they think is wrong. But it's okay, we all make mistakes and none of us are perfect." She explained to the black Tom kit her tail still gently around him. She hoped he'd learn this too, it helped her when she first learned it and it has helped her be the warrior she is today. Maybe it'd help Batkit become a strong warrior of RiverClan or Medicine cat. You never know, Juniperpaw could pick him as her apprentice. Then he had the qualities of a warrior. Cocoaheart didn't want to get lost in thought, witch happened more then a few times, so she tried to stay on subject in her head. Well normally she had 3 or more subjects in her head at once but that was beside the point.

A pale orange she-cat wearing a purple collar entered the Nursery from the back, she shook her pelt off and looked around, her snout wrinkled at the scent of the nursery. The she-cat caught her breath and sheathed her claws. The kittypets pupils slits. Her gaze went over the clan cats and the kits, trying to get a eye on Briarwing. The she-cats green gaze went over onto the kit near the entrance. She flexed her claws, growling quietly. "Can't a girl.. Just see her daughter?" She mewed, staying quiet. Sparrowkit's ears twitched and moved toward the sound, she glanced over at the kittypet. The kit's pelt stopped bristling and her ears picked up.

Bat` Kit's eyes narrowed. "How in Star Clan am i suppost to do that?" He sighed, normally a kit would be stress free... well most kits. "Its hard to do that when only a few moons ago they were laughing a purring with me.." He stared at his paws, he felt bad for talking to a warrior like that.

Cocoaheart gave him a sympathetic look. How was her suppose to do it? Batkit was right it would be hard, he's just lost his siblings. "I know it'll be hard, it is hard, but I also know it will help." She meowed. Letting out a sigh she looked off in to the distance for a few heartbeats. It's hard on a kit, losing their family. I wish I could have prevented it. She thought then looked back at Batkit. "I'll be here to help you, you know. I wouldn't just tell you something then leave you, Batkit." She told him giving a small smile. "That means I'm stuck with you." She added trying to lighten the mood with a small joke. Bending down she licked the top of his head. It was nice being with kits, fun even.

Owlfang, feeling rather cheeky, ducked his head down and snagged a few huge bites of fish, and then mewed sarcastically around an obvious mouthful of prey, "Wow, Splashpool you are really hungry today."
