Whisperpaw's ears perked up as Dawnstar made her presence known, and turned toward her voice to give her his full attention. WindClan on ShadowClan Territory? Well, that simply wouldn't do. Tail swaying slightly with nervous excitement, Whisperpaw rose to his feet and followed after Dawnstar, a little proud that she trusted him enough to bring him along on a task this important.

Batsong narrows his eyes and nods, ushering Dovekit and Pigeonkit back to the nursery, ignoring their complaints. He then goes over to Dawnstar, sitting down with the rest of the cats who will be with her. This should be a good fight.

Why did Starclan hate him so? It wasn’t that Shrewstep minded fighting. All cats could, and most, including him, found some satisfaction in the matching of skills, the drawing of blood. But indiscriminate death, when simple defeat was an option, he had SOME honor after all. But not killing, or at least trying would only make things worse, he couldn’t let his family and friends get hurt because he went easy on some rabbits. Unsheathing his claws he followed the others, steeling himself to spill some blood.

Finally! This was a moment Shadestorm had
been both hoping and waiting for. With the exception
of the weak Windclan molly he'd killed the other day he
hadn't gotten to sink his claws into and opponent in a good
while and was more then happy for the opportunity. He would
also be able to kill two cats with one slash so to speak by
hopefully impressing Dawnstar a little.

With swift leaps he followed after his grate leader, excitement
pulsing though his veins and he tried to walk right behind her,
showing that-
'This is a stepping stone to it...' the voice mumbled in his head,
interrupting his thoughts. 'To what' he snorted back to her without
words, annoyed the she always had to be in the way. 'A stepping stone
to becoming deputy, impress her now and she'll hopefully remember that, let
her down and she'll remember that two... Just not in a good way...'
"Tell me something I don't know" Shadestorm mumbled to him self, out
loud this time. He sighed, the voice had ruined the moment a little but only a little,
there was still time to make this day grate! He thought and straitened up a little more.

"Time to go kill some bunnies!"

Antpaw hurried after Dawnstar, excitement yet also dread pricking at him. He was ecstatic that Dawnstar had chosen him, but he didn't have good history with battles. All he could do was try his best to not think about it and just try to kill the WindClan cats as best he could. It couldn't be too hard, right? Those scrawny moor cats probably couldn't swat a fly from their whiskers.

Fiercefire let out a low growl. That was Shadowclans territory! They won it fair and square, well, sort of. Anyway, Fiercefire got up and padded out of camp with Dawnstar, unsheathing his claws as he went.

Rabbitpaw was proud to be picked. Dawnstar had obviously noticed his skill and he was happy to serve Shadowclan in fighting against his home clan. He hoped to tear those bunnies apart, maybe he one he knew, like his mother. He'd die to kill her, that uncaring furball. She loved his brothers more but then they died and she stopped caring for him. Now, here he was, in Shadowclan, and a strong cat, supported by Dawnstar. Just the thought of killing his mother made him hungry for blood. Cats were going to die today, at the tip of his claws.

So. This was her opportunity for action - real action, not just a border patrol. The monster stirred, cool as lizard scales in Sparkpaw's chest as it hummed eerie melodies of anticipation. Taken in by Dawnstar's confidence like a moth to a flame, the Bengal she-cat lifted her head high, swiped her tail and padded off in pursuit. Nervous butterflies beat little storms inside; she couldn't tell why. Fear? Signs of adrenaline to come? Excitement? Impossible to tell the difference anymore.

Spottedpaw’s ears twitched at the sound of the meeting. She unsheathed her claws. She was ready to kick some bunny butt! Her eyes burned with confidence. They were gonna prove the place they deserved, not like they needed to, but bunny brains clearly don’t work as quick as normal cats. She followed the cats out of camp, ready to bring back bunny pelts.

Daisypaw growled her claws unsheathing. BunnyClan. Will. Die. She ran after Dawnstar, imagining her claws sinking into a Bunny’s soft flesh.
