Elkgaze is a tall and large long furred dark brown tabby with some lighter brown that blends into a white belly, chest, and tail tip. They have a deeper green eye color with a small ring of amber around their pupil. They have large paws, smaller rounded ears, and a very thick fluffy tail. Though in recent times their bulkier size has gone down as they have been overworking to try and get the clan semi-back to normal.

Born to Mountainclaw and Batscreech during the tail end of Burningstar into Wolfstar's reign. They had 3 siblings, Beaverkit, Bearkit, and Sheepkit. Elkkit out of four was the calmest and the one that would 'heal' her siblings when they got hurt. Truly she took a huge interest in herbs and when she got her apprentice, Lilymoss picked her as her apprentice.
Elkpaw picked up the ways of the medicine cat with ease, she still stayed in contact with her siblings but couldn't hang out with them much because there was much to learn.
Elkpaw was twenty-five moons old when she received their name of Elkgaze. They were made into the medicine cat as Lilymoss retired to the elders den. Elkgaze had became the full medicine cat under Bearstar.
With the quick lost of lives Bearstar went through, they had a small fear grow in them. They had gone to the Starpond to get answers on these deaths but didn't get much in return. Though with the leader calming down significantly with loosing their lives they still had a small growing fear.
Though went the flood hit when she was thirty-seven moons old, she freaked out. As she had to leave behind her former mentor, and her parents who were lost in the flood. They were devastated but pushed past those emotions as to help the clan. Though her siblings were still alive and they were kicked out of their home as FrostClan and SquallClan didn't want to help.
On the travel they had little to no herbs to work with as they traveled as all herbs had been lost when the camp had flooded. The small reprieve that they had gotten when Lynxfreeze brought them to a building was lost as a large group of rouges attacked the group. Though she lived, she lost all of her siblings to infection as she tried her best to clean the wounds with what she could find.
As more lives were lost to illness and dehydration they started to loose faith in themselves as the medicine cat though kept those thoughts from anyone. This got worse when they lose the last of the lives in the Beast-Ridden Swamp.
At 40 moons, Elkgaze has gotten a better mindset but with all the new herbs in the area, process is slow as she tries to figure out what they could be used for.
