The former RiverClanner stared unblinking as Thunderchaser went on an admittedly passionate ramble of her plans. Or rather... her end goals. As far as the tuxedo could tell, there were no plans here, only dreams of things every clan cat should aspire for. And yet hearing her speak it made him realize just how lacking that passion had been amongst the living of late. ThunderClan... no, every clan... seemed to be stuck in a perpetual state of stagnancy.

There were no contested territories. Peace had made the warriors as complacent as the laziest of kittypets, content to gorge themselves on prey and ignore even their most basic of duties, like passing on their knowledge to the next generation. It was quite frankly all... rather boring. Moot. As if no one had dreams of grandness anymore.

Truth be told, Magpiewisp did not see how Thunderchaser's plan - if it could be called that - would change anything. It was hard to accomplish anything when steps towards your lofty goals - how grand a goal a place of relaxation for cats already too content in their paws was neither here nor there - were not there. One could only get so far without proper steps taken to succeed in life. Giving this warrior a chance based solely on that would be a waste of energy. A mar on the face of the council and what it stood for... and yet-

"What you call a plan is a dream. A goal you wish to attain but have yet to formulate a proper design by which to obtain it. And yet... you have passion in this dream, which is more than I can say for those that still walk amongst the living. Perhaps Bumblestar would do well... Having someone passionate amongst her warriors. Someone willing to do something for the clan, no matter how ill thought it might be," the brown eyed tom drawled. As he paused, a sly grin slowly spread across his lips, his voice gaining a hint of amusement in it upon continuing. "It might certainly prove entertaining. Show us then, Thunderchaser. What blind hopes and dreams can accomplish in a land where complacency rules supreme."

The warrior was overjoyed to hear the female clan members (she wouldn’t know Daisy’s name due to her old clan and that is ancient) response. Her tail waving in excitement! Although the stone cold warriors response was sharp toned and questionable, she expected it. She fully understood his concern and nodded her head to his words.

Now the other warriors response was a bit confusing to her.. she was actually shocked it a little bit. She was sure he was going to say no, but instead she got a “let’s see what empty dreams can get you.” Thunder kinda tilted her head in confusion, was it a yes or not? By the way it was said she took it as a yes, she awaited for further instruction or comments to be made by them. Bowing her head in respect of their decisions.

Barkblaze's questioning and uncertainty made sense to Daisypool, she'd had similar concerns herself about Thunderblaze's ill-laid "plan" though she preferred to judge a cat based on their intention and heart, of which Thunderchaser had plenty of. Magpiewisp's response was both expected and surprisingly unexpected. It definitely sounded as though the skeptical Dark Forest tom was giving Thunderchaser the go ahead. It seemed the decision wasn't to be left to Barkblaze after all, though Daisypool wasn't so sure that was a particularly good thing, especially after the petitioning warrior's too loud silence in the face of Barkblaze's questions. She'd never given a real plan and seemed to have not taken heed to her own warnings, by the look of excitement she displayed so blatantly even against Daisypool's expressed concerns and unanswered question. And then Barkblaze's questioning seemed to get through to some degree though the warrior only nodded and apparently refused to answer the questions posed. Magpiewisp's response seemed to get the most from the warrior and Daisypool was suddenly concerned that Thunderchaser was only concerned by the yes's and no's of the matter and not actually caring for herself to be understood or rooted for, a trait that would play dangerously if the hard-headed Bumblestar did not immediately take to Thunderchaser's mini-goal layout posing as a "plan". If she could change her answer Daisypool regretted to admit that she'd be swinging towards the side of doing so as the end of this was bringing possibly the real personality and drive of Thunderchaser into the light, alas she couldn't bring herself to rip away her answer from the eager warrior and she simply hoped Thunderchaser would not let her down.

And so, it seems that Magpiewisp gave Thunderchaser her final ‘yes’. It surprised him, but the only hint to that was the way that his eyes widened ever so slightly. The tom’s eyes grazed over Magpiewisp for a moment before he looked to Thunderchaser. He hadn’t said yes himself, but nor did he say no.. If Magpiewisp had said no and left him with the final decision, what would have become of Thunderchaser?

Thunderchaser would not have returned to Thunderclan.

That was not the case here, though. Best to keep that information to himself. “So it seems you may return to your clan, Thunderchaser.” With a flick of his tail, the tom stood, but not without another pawful of words. “Do not take advantage of this second chance that we grant.”

The shecat face lit up when she heard those words. She would never betray a cats trust, not now, not in the past, not ever. She promised herself that and she planned to stick to it.

“I would never! I plan to take this opportunity with great pride and promise.Thank you all, I truly appreciate it.”
The warrior stepped back, bowing her head in respect of the much old warriors. Turning around she swiftly left the large cavern that she had entered at the start of the interaction. Her head held high.
