Flowerpaw instantly felt relief as Meadowflower purred. Okay, I don't feel as shy now. "I have been talking with the elders and hanging around camp. Goldenstar says that he'll give me a mentor soon." She said, grinning. "What about you?" The thick-furred apprentice felt the chilling wind, even though it didn't pierce her pelt as much as it did to others. She was a little shocked at the larger molly fluffing up her fur before realizing why Meadowflower did it. Oh, she was cold. Not angry or upset.

Meadowflower dipped her head slowly with a moments hesitation. "Me? I've been laying in my nest wondering what I was doing in my life." replied the warrior with a bit of a chuckle. The molly didn't allow the cold to her again, so she wrapped her tail around herself to see if it would keep her warm, but yet another cold chill ran through her pelt. Meadowflower let out a hiss of annoyance. "Is it just me or is the cold only bothering me?" asked the molly in a small hiss. She was a bit paranoid at the wind daring it to come again.

One. Two. Three. Four. Five. Si- This is pointless.... Appledash took his gaze off of the ladybug he had been watching crawl up a leaf. Due to boredom, the ginger warrior had decided to take a closer look at the tiny bug and try to count the spots on its back. But the red creature would not stop moving long enough for him to focus. Laying in the clearing was not an ideal day for Appledash. But he was currently on rest, he shouldn't be doing anything to do with hunting or patrolling for the next day or two still. He had suffered some major wounds during the battle with the DS, although nothing too severe or fatal. The worst was a reopened scratch along his flank, one that he was currently covering with his bushy red tail.

Laying his head on his paws, Appledash let out a sigh. The last time I was this bored was when I was a kit and I couldn't do anything else but sit in camp.... The tomcat didn't take very well to not being able to do anything. Appledash was the type of cat that had to be up and moving, constantly. Sitting still for too long would make him axioms and nervous, as well as upset. But he knew it was better to listen to the medicine cat so he could heal.

"I just wish there was something more entertaining in the camp."

A golden tabby she-cat entered the camp, two mice hanging from her jaws by their tails. She headed over to the fresh kill pile and placed the lifeless pieces of prey down gently. The mice rolled and fell off the pile instead of staying there. Dazzlinggaze frowned. She bent down and picked it up, depositing her contributions onto the top of the pile again. Once again the mice toppled onto the ground. The warrior quietly hissed in frustration as she bent down again and nudged the mice closer towards the pile. She wasn’t going to bother any more with trying to balance the mice on the top. It obviously wasn’t going to stay so there was no point in trying.
With a sigh, she turned away from the pile of prey and sat down in a quiet spot. She started grooming her fur, which was matted and muddied. It was mostly her paws, which were stained brown with the dust and the mud. Most of her pelt was neat and clean though, with the occasional knot. She tugged furiously at a particularly difficult knot and finally it came free. With a satisfied smile, Dazzlinggaze finished grooming the rest of her fur and soon enough, she was done.
With her fur now finished, the warrior lay down on her stomach and rested her chin on her paws. She closed her eyes and enjoyed a few moments of peace and quiet. Her silence was interrupted soon enough, as a familiar voice reached her ears. She opened one eye but was otherwise keeping still. She looked to the spot which was a few foxlengths away, and noticed a tom sitting not to far away from her. She studied him warily. He seemed somewhat familiar to her. If she really had interacted with her before, it wouldn’t be very hard to work out who he was. After all, Dazzlinggaze didn’t socialise. She only socialised when she was approached. And even that wasn’t very common. Most cats didn’t even know that she existed. Something seemed to click in her mind as she realised who he was. He was the cat who she’d talked to in RiverClan’s camp. What was his name again? Appledash wasn’t it? He was a nice tom, and strangely enough, she didn’t mind his company. Still, she hadn’t been very open with him on the other day, and she wasn’t planning on changing that. Exhaling, the she-cat closed her eyes once more and shut everything out.

A piece of warm floated into the midsts of the unknown yet powerful emotion that Shadetail had began feeling, like a soft feather. A tiny smile flickered onto his face and he nodded. Once nervous about speaking with Goldenstar, Shadetail felt a little more confidant in his place amongst ShadowClan. The leader had reassured him that by proving himself through hard work, he would be able to gain the favor of his Clanmates.

"I appreciate your time, thank you Goldenstar," he mewed, dipping his head in farewell. The young warrior turned, getting ready to head out of the den, before another question popped into his mind. It was slightly out of the normal as far as questions were concerned, but his mind was already churning with what the answer was to it. "Goldenstar," the gray tom began, looking over his lean shoulder at the other tom. "Do you think the Dusk Syndicate will ever reform, now that the Clans have disbanded the hierarchy?" It was an honest question, but one that most probably preferred to keep unanswered. For good reason; the Syndicate had terrorized the Clans for many moons, and their disappearance was certainly a breath of relief for all Clan members alike.

Goldenstar watched Shadetail begin to leave. The leader honestly hoped that the cat could find some friends, since he knew how hard it was to find them sometimes. He also hoped that Shade had found a kind of friend in him, as it was nice to have a relationship like that sometimes, especially when you needed to talk to someone. Maybe he and Nutpaw would meet up at some point, however, that was for Shadetail to decide, not him.

As Shadetail turned around and asked one last question, the leader grew quiet for the longest moment. Could the Dusk Syndicate reform? He didn’t want to think about that, trying to figure out how to word the answer. “I don’t think there’s much of a chance that they’ll reform any time soon, however, there’s always a possibility I suppose,” he murmured. “Why do you ask?” he asked, tilting his head slightly. He didn’t think that was a normal question to ask, however, it was kind of a good question. They had forced them to disband, but anything could happen at any point. Sure, the possibility wasn’t that high, but you never knew.

daydream padded closer,¨im going to listen to your chest to see if theres drainage in your chest,okay? take deep breaths for me.¨ at this, they rested their head against the toms chest, ear pressed against it, listening for anything sounding like a rattle of some sort.

Dawnpaw nodded,” Right. No battle training I pressume. Is hunting too extreme or not?” She asked wanted to be safe rather than sorry.

Smokeykit gave a bounce,” What’s a heart attack!”

Soaringkit gave a slight nod Daydream is so nice.

Bunnykit smiled,” I won’t. Hopefully Smokeykit won’t.”

Rasberrybubble nodded,” I understand, but every time I love or care deeply for a cat they die. I-If you ever speak to Starclan see if they can spare my a moon or two of suffering. I- It’d mean alot if they let me third apprentice be the first to reach warriorhood...Newtpaw only has one moon of training left. And- if they’d let my adoptive daughter experience a few moons of apprenticehood that’d be nice...” she meowed.

He chuckled,” Ask Starclan not me!” He purred smiling himself to death. Wow. I haven’t been so happy in the clans in moons! he didn’t know what to say, he was happy and enjoying himself. What more could he do.

Flowerpaw smiled lightly at Meadowflower's first comment. She didn't know how to reply. She wrapped her long tail around her paws, smiling as the sun tried to peek out of the clouds. "I have longer, thicker fur than you. It is still very cold." Flowerpaw pointed out, "Look the sun is peeking out from behind the clouds. Maybe it can help your pelt warm a bit." A small shiver went down her spine as she felt the wind again. The young apprentice looked back over to Meadowflower.

Tension rose in Shadetail's veins at Goldenstar's answer. Of course it was possible for the Syndicate to reform. Being apart of the group for so long, the tom knew that most didn't have the mental capacity to survive without some form of structure; others were too prideful to let the legend of the once powerful Syndicate just fade away like dust in the wind. "No reason," he shrugged, looking to the side and away from the leader. His thoughts were racing in his head, but he supposed there wasn't any time to worry about his former residence gaining any type of power. After all, they were strongly outnumbered.

A strange feeling climbed its way from the depths of Shadetail's paws and trickled into his chest, tighter this time than the last. "I hope that if the time comes to face them once more, ShadowClan will trust me to stand by them." There was a hint of an ominous tone to his words, one that would remain undetected unless it was specifically being listened for. "Thank you for your time, Goldenstar," Shadetail meowed, casting one last grateful glance in the leaders' direction before turning and exiting the den, his tail slipping out behind him.

Nightshade was laying on her back, soaking in the warm sunlight. She flipped over and sighed. She nibbled on her claws before looking up. "Well, I might as well go talk to Haypaw about taking her to the Starcave (is that what it's called?). I'll need to tell her as soon as possible." she got up and started waling around, looking for the young apprentice. She spotted her and trotted over to her.

Goldenstar watched Shadetail, getting a little bit suspicious, but calming down a few moments later. He did have to wonder what brought that question to the tom’s mind however, since he didn’t think that was a normal thing for anyone to ask. However, maybe that was just something he was afraid of, and Golden could forgive that. As the tom left, Golden dipped his head in a friendly goodbye. The conversation had been short, but it had been long enough for him to get to kind of know Shadetail. “It was a pleasure meeting you,” He said calmly, watching the tom leave the den.
