Upon her return, MorningCall is mentally exhausted, extremely skinny and has a permanent limp in her right hind leg due to the harsh conditions she endured by the neglectful twolegs that had taken her from her home against her own wishes. She is overwhelmed by the news of the hostilities that has transpired both inside and outside the clans. Additionally, painfully told of the death of her childhood friend EveningDance ( @/silverwynds ). After hearing, his deathbed confession, guilt and depression wrecked her entirely, feeling as though she could have prevented his death, another part of her questions what could have been if she had just been more open with him. She sobbed herself to sleep for the following days after his death, the closest goodbye she got was in a dream, EveningDance now looking after her small daughter, RavenKit. That notion alone, real or not real, was enough to comfort her slightly in her grief, she promised herself to keep an eye out on his kits for him while he did so for her.

MorningCall finds herself being consoled by friends and family she had not seen for quite a while, feeling herself mourn the time lost she tries her best to re-connect with them. Feeling utterly defeated, she is unsure how to proceed with herself, feeling lost as well as a whole heap of anger. She feels as though she has been punished by Starclan for all the constant misfortune that befalls her, she feels like she's being toyed with and wishes to take back control of the chaos. She couldn't help but wonder how she is still surviving however she was determined to get stronger, even if she had to start at ground zero, she would work her way up and make sure she could avenge all whom she's lost. She wanted to make a difference.

Needing frequent visits to DrizzleCloud and Springpaw to ensure she was truly recovering from being underweight and her new scars she had acquired; MorningCall ends up befriending [Unrequited Love Interest/Stalker | Shecat ] that had been in and out of the medicine den to be monitored for a minor injury. MorningCall allows for some conversation here or there, despite her caution she is open to the shecats chipper attitude. However, she does find it strange how much the shecat seems to know about her, a frightening amount, MorningCall has also yet to notice the strange stares the shecat gives her...

Plot Concept: [Shecat] has a HUGE crush on MorningCall which had started long before MorningCall had gone missing, additionally MorningCall didn't know of her existence but the [Shecat] certainly knew her. Frightfully Well. The shecat is quite obsessive and a tad stalkerish when she gains interest and a crush on someone. Unfortunately for [Shecat], MorningCall will not reciprocate at any point of time and is more likely to become uncomfortable with her, finding [Shecat] quite creepy. However, [Shecat] just can't seem to get the hint that she is being quite overbearing. Afterall, [Shecat] isn't one to back down so easily.

[Shecat] can possibly be hateful towards other love interests who are trying to gain MorningCall's affection if rper pleases, depends on how obsessive you wish her to be.

During this time, MorningCall tries to focus on helping her remaining loved ones, however, struggles due to the recent trauma's resulting in constant night terrors with additional stress of unhealed issues. Due to her weaken physique and lack of mental stability, she starts to do personal rehabilitation training to re-strengthen her body back to warrior-standard, to prepare herself to help during the clan conflicts and to feel more confident in her abilities again. Although, accounting for her now limp which hinders her at times.

[Potential Love interest | Tom ] comes into the picture as he stumbles upon her in a part of the territory he had "accidentally"/purposely came across. He watches her struggling with once easy battle manoeuvres, he decides to interrupt her and offer a very embarrassed MorningCall some pointers although he was extremely blunt and almost insulting about it, which resulted in MorningCall becoming somewhat agitated. But his advice proved useful as she managed to do the trick, evidently what was meant to be a small exchange ends with him offering to become a temporary training partner to help her. MorningCall is naturally cautious of the overly generous request of the tom but doesn't necessarily refuse the help, although she is very confused as to why he would help her in the first place, especially since his tone towards her seemed cold and snarky. Perhaps there was more to him than what meets the eye? She wondered how this would go.

Plot Concepts: [Tom] was a previous best friend of EveningDance who is offering MorningCall help due to owing the deceased tom a favour, although he was hesitant at first, he had never been a fan of EveningDance's mate RaspberrySplotch and this other shecat "MorningCall" might be no different, just another annoying molly who didn't deserve a moment of his friend's time. Of course, he agreed somewhat after being additionally asked of DoveFluff who encourages the tom to introduce himself to her as she feels there's been a misunderstanding. Approaching her and aiding her in training, his sour attitude starts to soften quite considerable. He finds himself caring for her. The more time this tom spends around MorningCall, the more he starts to develop a weird mushy feeling. Could it be love? He's quick to deny it, mostly out of guilt for his deceased friend and his own personal turmoil. Although, the idea of being with her certainly lights a fire in his icy heart.

rushwater doesn’t usually interlope on other clan’s territory- he prefers to stay well inside riverclan’s sprawling claims. however, minkpaw’s murder hasn’t been sitting right with him. he can’t let it be- can’t sleep for thinking and can’t focus for pondering. he needs to find her killer and end them before anyone else is lost to this monster. well, one of the trails from haven springs leads in thunderclan’s general direction. though, he suspects the killer would have been much more subtle in their escape he supposes that all leads deserve investigation.

when stalking through the sparsely forested border in hunt of clues, he ends up running nose-first into a thunderclan warrior, morningcall. he calmly explains why he’s trespassing and asks her to forgive him for interloping on thunderclan soil, what happens from there is up to roleplay!

i imagine the two of them would have a very interesting conversation, as they’ve both been through a lot and have very different ways of handling the stress. i’m also willing to hear any ideas or other plot ideas o:
