Chilidash yawned and trotted out of his . Smelling the fresh kill pile, his belly rumbled. Hearing this, he looked around for soemone to go hunting with. His eye caught on a she cat unlike anyone he"d ever seen before. His heart did a flip flop in his chest, as he willingly leaped into the unending cavern call LOVE.

Greypaw's tail flicked irritably, hearing that Redclaw was still upset over the loss of Iceclaw. "I miss our father too, but he can't carry on like this. He has a duty to the Clan, and so do we."

He flexed his front paws, claws raking the dirt. "We should all work to make him proud of us up in StarClan, he wouldn't want us all moping over his passing."

That mischievious expression was still strong in his eyes, but almost not as apparent as he glanced up at the sky again. The day would probably go pretty uneventfully... it seemed the weather was good so there should be a lot of prey, was it not for those stupid Twolegs. Sometimes he wished they were more aware of the Clans, more aware of the world around them and could realize what they were doing. Even though it might destroy some sort of a balance, Ottertail would be quite grateful for the change from the bumbling creatures they were in his eyes.

Mintberry pretended to think hard momentarily, her green hues narrowing with concentration. "Hmm... what did Ottertail tell me about it..." she repeated, her tail tip twitching before her hues lit up with mischief. "Oh! I know! He told me it was his favorite nickname and to continue calling him that!" she replied with full confidence. She also took up the habit of referring to others in third person to show she was simply playing around. "And alas, fluff butt, my legs have stopped working so I cannot go get those herbs for you," she spoke, purposefully buckling her legs beneath her and laying on her stomach. Her legs were sprawled out behind and in front of her in a dramatic fashion. The black and white feline's eyes rested on him again, wondering what he'd do.

"That's it! Ottertail's going full out on you, lil' miss Minty!" The tom's optics sparkled playfully at referring to himself in the third person and her as 'lil' miss Minty.' It was a nickname that he was hoping would be as affectionately exasperating as her own for him, but maybe she would actually like it. Either way Ottertail would be satisfied. The feline's optics continued sparkling as he got to his paws and padded towards her. Pretending to suddenly lose control, the feline flopped partly on top of her, his front paws curved over her back while his head and part of his chest rested on it. "Oh dear, dear, me... I seem to have lost control of all my limbs... ah well, you know how it is when you're an old fluff butt like me." He remained there, pretending to be unable to get back up. The tom was happy to have a friend he could just play around with. As a general rule, there weren't too many serious talks between the two, but he would have been happy to be there if she needed it. Whatever Mintberry needed to rid her memory of the awful night terrors, he was happy to give it to her.

Bubblestep made her way out of the warriors den. There was a slight chill in the air, much to her dismay. "Green-leaf is ending," She mewed silently. She made her way to the fresh kill pile, which had shrunk drastically. She plucked the smallest shrew, leaving the meatier prey for the others. This was her first official leaf-fall, for she was too young to remember. Her siblings were a claw-moon old when their first leaf-bare came to an end.

She hadnt made any official announcement but she had mentioned it to a few warriors around who were probably already hunting in ShadowClan territory. It was flooded, but there was still prey there, and obviously the ShadowClan cats werent going to eat it. So, I shouldnt feel guilty. She decided, eyes narrowed slightly as she took a deep breath. The twolegs were scaring away the prey, so they needed whatever they could find. Her eyes flickered to her deputy when she saw Bubblestep heading to the fresh-kill pile, and relief flooded her. It was a great time to talk to her deputy about the thing with ShadowClan. The young leader quickly pushed herself to her paws and strode over to Bubblestep, mewing greetings to cats as she passed. "Bubblestep," Her mew was soft, looking toward the fresh-kill pile before nodding to Bubblestep again. "Can we talk?" She angled her head toward a tree outside of the leaders den, the area seeming deserted and a perfect place for the two to converse.

"Okay- Good. You can eat while we speak, I just need to talk to you about the lack of prey." Lowering her voice slightly at the end of her sentence, Snowstar gave her a friendly smile, flicking her tail toward the shrew before turning and heading over to the tree, glancing back to ensure Bubblestep was following.
