Rainhound yawned as she stepped into the clearing, still adjusting to the warriors' den. Wait -- why was she tired? Today, she would host an event! Her heart seemed to beat in her throat as she stepped into the center of the clearing, taking a deep breath. This should be easy enough, maybe even easier than standing on the Thunderwillow -- right? Or was she getting something wrong here? Still, this time she didn't have to summon the whole clan, just warriors and apprentices. Plus, she was a warrior now, so cats ought to respect her more! She shook out her pure grey pelt, taking a moment to recite the way this would work. If Rainhound messed anything up, she would be extremely disappointed in herself. Blue eyes looking at the sky, she inhaled once again. So, the event she was holding was a sparring event.

She had figured that after the recent battle, ThunderClan really needed to strengthen their fighting skills, and a sparring event would make this a lot more fun. Would everyone agree with her on this -- or was she just being foolish, hosting an event when she'd become a warrior mere... hm, how long ago was it, at this point? She couldn't remember, but her warrior name would always be extremely meaningful to her. I'm doing this for Houndspirit, Rainhound told herself. Maybe, if everyone was well trained, no battle like this would happen again. Houndspirit wasn't supposed to lose her life to a stupid RiverClan warrior -- like, seriously! The warrior had killed an apprentice, and worst of all, he'd killed her intentionally.

...Rainhound would NOT think about it any longer. She needed to get started, or cats might start wondering why she was standing in the center of the clearing whilst dreamily gazing at the sky. OK OK, so she simply had to summon her courage again, like she'd done back then. Easy enough -- right? Or was there a misunderstanding, and her brain wasn't working correctly? Theoretically though, this should be easier than holding a clan meeting.

"Apprentices and warriors--" Nope, nope, too quiet. Start again, Rainhound. You need to get this finished. "Apprentices and warriors of ThunderClan!" This time her voice "boomed" through the clearing, loud enough for (almost) everyone to hear. "Don't worry, I'm not holding another clan meeting, haha. I've decided to start a sparring event! You don't need training for this, because the purpose is to learn while having fun. I'll explain the rules when more cats have arrived, and we'll head out into the territory then!"

A small smile popped onto her face as she waited for cats to arrive. Apparently, all Rainhound needed to do was believe in herself.

[ This event has no set starting date - it will begin when we have enough participants! I'll explain everything in detail later, but here is the basic info:

-- Your cat will be partnered with another cat, and the objective is to win the match.

-- To determine random points, I'll be using a online dice and adding the points together. These make a total score.

-- Basically, if your cat has the higher score, they get ranked up! This continues until we have a winner.

That's all for now! Again, everything will be explained in more detail later.

The mollies ears perked in interest. A chance to improve her fighting skills? Yes! This was exactly what she needed! And honestly what Thunderclan needed as well-
Bounding into the clearing Brave'mist directed her attention to Rain'hound, "Ready when you are!" excitement flashed in her eyes, as she took a seat.

Jaggedfrost raised his head in interest when he heard Rainhound’s announcement. Getting to his feet smoothly, he slinks over, ears perked curiously.

~ Sand'Smoke padded forward, curious. Hm, sparring? He'd have to be careful to not trample any of the younger apprentices with his large paws.

the young tom stepped forward he was not in need of another fight, the past still haunting him greatly, but he would participate. maybe he would work on aiming so another...incident wouldn't happen again.

Birch heart gathered over there, hoping to have some fun and maybe teach someone something. He was still sad that his daughter was not an apprentice yet. She deserves to be one, she had for a while.
