"You're in RiverClan territory. You're not supposed to be here." he continued. After a moment of standing there, staring down at the kit, he let out a sigh, "Listen, bud, If you don't know where your parents are now - you're probably not going to find them. I can take you back to camp and you can join the clan, I'll get a queen to take care of you. But - if your parents do happen to show up and start causing trouble, I'm kicking them and you out, understand?"

If Sootflare could be pinching his nose, he would be. Should've just left it. Ignored it. Just walked by and continued on to go hunt somewhere else, "It's just- a clan. MY clan. A bunch of cats come together to live and work in the same place."

"Yes- Yes, that's what I said." he replied, tired and exasperated. Right. Well, as soon as they got back to camp, he could just dump the kit on one of the queens and not worry about it anymore. He moved to grab the kit by the scruff so he could carry him back before pausing, "What's your name, bud? You at least have one of those, don't you?"

"I think there hasn't been any other parts of the territory named after other leaders because with past leaders there wasn't large parts of territory gained all at once," the spotted warrior had to think abut that question before she had spoken, because she really hadn't thought about it before merely just accepting the names when she heard it. She herself couldn't wait to get to training island, she was just as excited to start training Sootpaw.

"That's cool! Do you think other clans will merge into other clans?" Sootpaw mewed, sliding down the rock, slow enough not to hurt herself. She walked beside Leopardblaze, her eyes glimmering with excitement. "And SkyClan sounds cool! What warriors used to be SkyClan before RiverClan merged with SkyClan?" Sootpaw loved hearing things like this!

"Idiotic is not something you want to be!" he hissed in response as they walked off, though halfheartedly and mostly to himself. How was it so hard to understand? Just... do the work and do it right and there was no need for yelling or lecturing or sending back to camp. His anger continued to fester until Creekleap and Dayheart were long out of sight and Sootflare remained where he stood. When he could no longer hear their pawsteps, he glanced down at the rock Dayheart had dropped. With an angry 'gah!' he kicked it and watched as it bounced out of view before storming further into the tunnels.

Long, dark, winding tunnels. Dead ends. Getting lost. Building frustration. As much as he tried to fool himself, Sootflare didn't know his way around the tunnel network. The scents were stale and overwhelming and the air was suffocating. Collapses blocked clear pathways and forced him to reroute and find another way. He would remain in the tunnels long after the sun began to set - insistent on finding his way to the old camp. He would, eventually, but by then he would be covered in dirt, exhausted, and lacking in the energy to find his way back out. Sootflare would remain there overnight - collapsing in old den - and return home in the morning.

FireMist padded into the territory, his orange paws sinking into the marshy land. "Ugh, I can't believe I live in such a disgusting, wet area!" He scowled, jumping to a rock he could stand on. "Don't even get me started on the fish! I'd rather eat crowfood!" {Open}
