Nicht twitched his whiskers, his fur fluffing up and flattening down once more in a shiver. Again, something wasn't right about this situation, but he dared not ask. He knew enough to not snark when he was in danger of being hurt... once he realized it.
"Got it," he mewed in assent.

He looked to beetle. "I know of a tom willing to ruin the clans." He said to beetle. "Before nicht attacks you, you might want to bring a tom named duskfrost in, he hates the clans."

@Kunaiskrill (It'd be better to ask something like that OOC- whether you could bring him in- or less awkwardly than you did here- your character didn't show any emotional response like he did before. You could have done something like- "But I'm useful to you! There's this tom I met, that'd be willing to ruin the Clans. Duskfrost." Pointing this out because it distrupts the tone of the scene too much, and it's hard for Nicht to react to because it'd distract him from the goal.)

Oohhh... Beetle was a bad tom with a temper...
Nicht tried to steady a shaking paw, as he watched the tom slide back into his calm facade.
It was more than just threats, as the housecat had thought- he really could kill Nicht quickly.
Why hadn't he? Why did he want him alive?

He forced back the questions, braced himself, and unsheathed the paw he was staring at.
His other paw followed suit, and he swished his tail for luck, then tried a variation of the hunting crouch again, to stalk towards...

Nicht stopped that effort, and ran clumsily towards Beetle, attempting to strike his flank as if he was batting a human's arm for cutting his claws too poorly. @QueenCocaHead
