Sandykit frowned up at her father. "But I don't want you to leave," she meowed quietly, her voice sounding weird to her own ears. Her eyesight was slowly sharpening, and she looked around the nursery. A queen sat nearby- her scent told Sandykit that this was her mother, and she shivered, getting a weird vibe from this cat. But she's my mother, surely we'll be fine? And Father says that he will get someone to watch us, anyways...
