Welcome to Character of the Month, a feature designed to recognize two characters who deserve kudos!

Using the form found at the bottom of this post, you may nominate two Main Roleplay characters you think deserved to be featured! Please use one form per character - they should not be in the same form.

For the sake of giving every character a chance, avoid nominating cats who have already been nominated for the month.

Nominations will be held for approximately 3 weeks, ending on the 22nd. Once it ends, a poll will be posted displaying the names of the characters who qualify for voting.

Users can vote for as many characters as they want to be recognize, provided it is not their own character. It is discouraged to vote for every character listed, as only two will win.

If two characters have the most votes, but they are roleplayed by the same person, the winner will be picked by staff based on the nomination reasons, and the second winner will default to the next highest vote.

The voting period will end on the last day of the month, and the results will be posted on the 1st of the new month.

Before you nominate, please keep these in mind.

• Characters should have been roleplayed within the last two weeks of being nominated to avoid inactive characters being featured.
• You may not nominate your own characters, or advertise your characters to gain nominations.
• Characters used to violate a roleplay rule cannot be voted for the month they broke the guideline. They will be omitted from the final polling.
• Nominations must include an explanation of why the character deserves recognition. Posts that do not provide a reasoning will be removed. Additionally, be thorough in your evaluation of the character. Vague or thoughtless statements (e.g. "they're cool") will result in your nomination being discarded. We want to know why you think this cat deserves attention!
• You may nominate two characters, but avoid nominating characters who have already been nominated.
• A character who has won before may be nominated only after 6 months.

Why should this character be featured?: they do so much and I love Cow and they are so silly and they are always there for the wc cats

Why should this character be featured?: An amazing cat who knows what good for her. She may be slightly unprepared, but Larkwing is RC's leader and she deserves it. Every high rank deserves to be remembered. However this one is different. Larkwing is everything for RiverClan. She will lead the clan through its darkest times and help it through. A great cat and amazing leader.

Why should this character be featured?: This cat knows what's good for him. Yellowpaw is a master of battle and yelling the heck out at any cat who makes him unhappy. He has two sides: friends for life, of enemies for life. And that's it. He takes things hard and will do anything to get some glory for himself. A hardcore apprentice who deserves every award possible.

Why should this character be featured?: This girl appeared and took us all by surprise. She immediately became an active participant inside the clan and made many others, including myself, to be proud of RiverClan. Cats like cherryswirl show the spirit of what the clan used to be, and I love it!

Why should this character be featured?: Sure, I haven't read much on this lad, but while I may be lacking in the entire Yellowpaw-lore department, I've seen a couple of posts that Shroomy has made with him -- and let me tell you, I've been hooked from the first day. Shroomy is a fairly new member here, but I absolutely adore her writing style, and greatly look forward to seeing more Yellowpaw posts around ShadowClan.

Why should this character be featured?: For this one, I really wish I could have nominated Airkit and Blossomkit as a pair, what with the wonderful siblings they make. Regardless, of the two, Airkit has certainly caught my attention recently. He's such a sweetheart, tiny compared to his boisterous sister and yet still loving and appreciative all the same. I'd love to see Airkit win COTM. :0

Why should this character be featured?: Falcon is just absolutely awesome. He's sweet and spicy, kind and warm but also with some sass. He's very thorough and interesting to read and it's no surprise that he was made med cat! The way els writes him in such a great way, and I'm always excited when there's a falcon post out. He also feeds my little forbidden love trope loving heart with his secret pining for his ShadowClan wife, and just he's so FUN I love him and he deserves to win cotm!!

Why should this character be featured?: An absolute doll, Blueberry has been through so much but she still keeps her beautiful, kind heart. Never failing to be a sweet, supportive sister and friend, I love ready posts with Blueberrypaw and I can't wait to see where she goes in the future!

Why should this character be featured?: i will not give up on sparrow!! no way no how!! she is a wonderfully written character with so much strength and determination! things have been tough on her lately but she still finds a way to smile and im so proud of her for that <3

Why should this character be featured?: rushwater has been a character ive kept my eyes on for a little while now! characters like him are always so interesting for me to read-- i love the introspection. his faults are so beautifully written and he is so devoted to his clan because of them! so excited to see where he goes!

Why should this character be featured?: Sundrop's been doing an extremely good job at roleplaying as them, and he's made some excellent plots with them. Not to mention they're amazingly written!

Why should this character be featured?: SMELLY. EVIL. But mostly smelly. Okay, seriously though, I am absolutely in love with Spiderthroat's character. I started adoring him when he did his first favor for Drizzlecloud just cause she said 'please' a while ago, and I've loved him ever since!! I just love characters that have odd morals–morally grey characters are definitely a weakness of mine. Every post of his that I read is like a treat! He's like a wet sock(in the most positive way). He has never done anything wrong in his life, your honor!! HE IS AN INNOCENT MAN!!!
