Posts: 1920Watermelons, tomatoes, carrots? What's more interesting is the rabbits and mice attracted to this strange looking twoleg clearing. There's even some useful herbs here seasonally, but for one cat, it's a pretty special place.

Posts: 4952[SIZE=0.5]Having spent the first halfof her day sleeping in the alleyways she called home, Savina stretched out her paws as she rose from her makeshift nest, compiled of spare leaves and blankets she was able to find on the streets and in backyards- though they were hard to carry for a cat who didn't get much to eat like she did. No mice in this area, huh? Can't smell any rats, either- looks like I've got to find something else to eat. Sighing, the molly began to pad out by herself, getting a direct scent of fruits and vegetables immediately. She knew where the prey was located, and even if she didn't eat natural-grown food like this, Savina could tell that prey like mice and squirrels would flock to the garden at once, if they weren't already there. Making her way towards the garden carefully, she raised her head to look around for anyone suspicious, having learned to always watch your back when you live as an alley cat. You never know who's going to come out of the bushes and scratch out your eyes, or who's going to leap down from a tree and steal your catch.[/SIZE]

Posts: 1920Ratthroat takes no heed padding into the garden. He was aware of Savina, doesn't even know her, but he didn't care. With his mostly empty expression and stride, he avoids contact, just wanting to sit by the carrot patch and mope for, however long. Molefang stayed within the forest's brush. Posts: 4952[SIZE=0.5]Stalking into the garden, Savina's ears suddenly perked up in alarm as she saw another cat stride into the garden, though they looked... like they weren't feeling too well. The alley cat didn't know if she should try and see whatwas wrong with this cat, just because she wanted to get prey for herself and not have to worry about the problems of others- but he looked like he might've needed help, and Savina didn't have any idea that a third cat was watching her through the bushes surrounding the strange garden. Slowly padding up to the tom carefully, her blue eyes shone with pity as she sat beside him, tilting her head in confusion towards his empty, dull expression. "...Hey- what's wrong?" She asked, her voice lilting with slick, sweet, kindness, though she knew that if he attacked, she'd have to fight- it was pretty much the laws of the land when you lived in twolegplace- it was an environment where you'd either kill, or be killed. But I can spare a bit of compassion for this cat, can't I? We're barely in the alleys anymore, just a carrot patch.[/SIZE]

Breezefoot crept slowly from behind Ratthroat, keeping distance. He made sure the wind was blowing his way so Ratthroay wouldn't be able to smell him. What's he doing here? This is twoleg place, not SkyClan! Breezefoot thought in bewilderment. It had only been not too long ago when Breezefoot had watched Ratthroat sneak out of SkyClan Territory. Breezefoot was curious and had decided to follow Ratthroat. He now found himself in twoleg place. Should I tell Lemonstar? No, it's probably not worth it, Breezefoot thought. He crept into some bushes with dark leaves so he camouflaged just a little.

Posts: 1920Ratthroat turned his head to the alley cat, staring a short moment with sad eyes before mewing against his better judgement, "I thought love was simple." He kneads at the loose soil like he was bracing himself.

Molefang could see that they were talking, but couldnt hear anything as far off as she was. Who is this molly? Does he know her? A touch of jealousy moves her forward, sneaking closer using the scattered wooden plots to stay hidden.

She wasn't the best when it came to helping other cats with their problems, but she tried to help. There wasn't much she could do, but maybe she could actually make some-cat feel better about themselves insted of just lurking around her home. Besides, he looks like a decently handsome cat... why's he having problems with love if he's good-looking? Heck, he shouldn't have problems with much- good-looking cats get so many things, and he smells like a clan cat, too. "Besides, aren't you a clan cat? Your life is probably easy- you guys have so much territory." Not like an alley cat- we've got to forage for food, steal scraps from the trash bins- we've got to fight to survive.[/SIZE]

Breezefoot watched in curiousity. Does Ratthroat know this she cat? Breezefoot wondered. He certainly seems close to her, He thought, staring closely as he watched Savina's tail pat Ratthroat's shoulder. "Are they the only ones here?" Breezefoot whispered really softly to himself, that it was nearly inaudible. How long has Ratthroat been coming to this place? Breezefoot wondered. He had many questions that made him want to just burst out of the bushes and ask him but unfortunately he knew he shouldn't. Afterall, Ratthroat might attack him or something. He definitely seemed like he might. Breezefoot studied Ratthroat's movements and he couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards him. Ratthroat just seemed to want Ferretfern and the kits to like him. Then a tinge of anger boiled in him. Then again Ferretfern is my mate, or was anyway, he thought, feeling a bit sad.

"I would've left the clan for her if she still wanted to, but then she met that other tom. I'll bet she hasn't been here since that night." He realized now that he is being awfully open to this cat, questioning if he should just drop it there, but unlike him, he just stopped caring. "What's your name?"

Left the clan for her? Is he talking about Ferretfern still? Molefang quietly moves a little closer. As the conversation gets deeper.

I don't want to think of my survival, how I need to hunt around here- I need to help this cat. Her eyes glowing with support, she dipped her head in solitude. "Love's confusing. Sometimes the best strategy is to move on, you know." She was never this open to strangers, but this tom felt like someone she could open up to, somebody she really knew well- even though they'd only met today. "There are many different squirrels in the forest, and if you end up chasing only one your entire life, you'll never have the opprotunity to catch a thousand better, kinder squirrels." Her analogy was a bit strange, but she just wanted to help, with the alley cat's ears folding as she could sense somebody watching her- her senses were sharpened- but she didn't act on it. Probably a piece of prey, maybe a twoleg.[/SIZE]

Breezefoot watched the conversation between the two cats closely. Afterall, he is a creepy stalker. He studied the she cat closely. She definitely wasn't a clan cat. Maybe she's a kittypet? Breezefoot thought. And who on earth is Ratthroat talking about? I get the feeling he's talking about Ferretfern but it doesn't seem to match, Breezefoot thought, carefully thinking over what Ratthroat had said. Breezefoot crouched down even lower to make sure there was no chance of him being spotted. The wind still blew his way so he was safe for now. How much longer am I going to have to stay like this, Breezefoot asked himself.

Molefang perked her ears, of course he would say that, the tom only knew how to take care of himself. Enough with the 'she' and 'her', I know Ferretfern would never leave the clan, but... who else could it be?

Breezefoot's ears perked. It almost seems like this she cat is purposely trying to get Ratthroat to fall out of love with.....whoever he's talkig about, Breezefoot thought suspiciously. He narrowed his eyes as he looked on, carefully listening to every word of their conversation. Breezefoot suddenly froze. He stopped all movement and stayed frozen. He realised the wind was now blowing in Ratthroat and the she cat's direction. Ohhhhhhhhh mouse dung.....

What to say...what he likes? Molefang shivered in shock and fear. Ferretfern! A realization striking the wind out of her, she tries to hurry out of there, hidden from Ratthroat's direction, but her claws tapping the concrete.

I was gonna be a brand new cat in the neighborhood... Uh I'm gonna give a description of Shadow (my oc for when I'm a kittypet)She is a adolescence she cat who just came to this neighbor hood.Her pelt is coal black with very dark grey paws and stripes.Shadow's eye color is a shade of gold that seems to glow In the dark.She is and curious cat who always has an sense for adventure.She can be a little stubborn at times but she is easy to get used to.She is terrified of large dogs and adders because that's how she lost her siblings.She was once a Clan-born cat,but she was taken at a young age by twolegs.Shadow often climbs trees and lays up there in the branches for a hour or two.She liked to introduce herself to the cats at her old neighborhood, but here she doesn't know how to act to them.--

Besides, if this place cheers me up, maybe it'll cheer him up as well. "Yeah, that could happen- anything can happen. They don't have to be in your 'clan'- they can just show up one day. Really, you don't have to act all hung up on this Ferretfern you're talking about, because there's probably somebody else for her and somebody else for you. Don't worry about it, alright?" It felt really nice to cheer this cat up, and to feel like she was actually doing a good job of something- it was hard to ever feel satisfied with yourself when you lived in the slums of twolegplace, trying to get whatever you could instead of focusing on making friends, on creating relationships. Now that I think about it, he looks really great- better than when I first saw him. Being happy, I think that makes cats nicer-looking. "Trying's the first step, y'know." She had caught another scent too, and her nose turned up immediately. They kinda smell like him- Ratthroat, I mean. Beaming quietly, her nose twitched with the thought that another cat- another cat might be watching her. As a stray cat, she always had to be on her guard to see if someone was on her tail. She'd been raised to be cautious, and so it was only normal for the molly to suspect something was up, though she tried not to show it in her actions towards Ratthroat- actualy, she wanted to... impress him?

Ratthroat looked to his paws as he contemplated a 'first step.' What does he have to do?Who does he go to?... Should he ask for help?

A ways behind Ratthroat lied a small cabbage patch, no more than three heads ever grew at once. A fairly small kit chases flys, defending the strange smelling vegetable to his pleasure. Unknown to him, though, a young white cat is sneaking up on him, and when he got the chance, he pounced the kit and pinned him. "Feather!" the kit cried, scattering the soil as he tried to struggle free.

"Nice catch, Feather." mewed another white cat standing on some loose bricks. "So Birch, yeah, I know your name, you really thought you could just scamper away with food from my alley?" He scoops a pawful of soil at Birch, who yowls out from the dirt in his eyes. Feather cringes a little, "Fin, you said you just wanted to scare him..."

Watching Ratthroat carefully, for any signs of discomfort or maybe possible conversation topics, Savina didn't have much going on for her until another smell reached her nose- and the alley cat let out a low growl. I can hear them- they're hurting someone, aren't they? Even if they aren't, I can tell they're being rude... mouse-brains. Turning around, she narrowed her eyes in an annoyed fashion, padding up to the two juveniles who were teasing a stray kit with purpose. "Hey, cut it out!" She hissed, letting her ears flatten against her skull as she watched them- they were hurting his eyes, throwing mud at this kitten's face like it was all a joke. Hurting someone isn't a joke, and I come from a world of hurt.

Feather lowered his head warily but kept hold of Birch, who stopped struggling at Savina's voice, though he couldn't open his eyes. Fin turned his head to Savina with wild eyes, "You're no different than him, cramming your muzzle where it doesn't belong. Get lost or your next!" He hissed and waved his tail viciously. "F-Fin...?" Feather mewed lightly. He lowered himself further, afraid of the look Savina is giving them.

Savina could imagine what this kit felt like. The life of growing up by yourself, with no friends, the life of getting attacked just for trying to survive, it was one that she'd have to live through. She'd never been able to fight back, to see cats drive away those who threatened her, but maybe she could make a difference in this cat's life- Even if I'm... a bit distracted, I guess. Looking back at Ratthroat, her gaze flung back to Fin the moment he insulted her, and the molly growled, unsheathing her claws in a blaze of fury. "If you can't see what's wrong with attacking an innocent kit like that, I'd recommend you run away, right now." Besides, you're smaller than me, anyways- wouldn't want to get too cocky. I'm not all that bad in a fight! Her claws dug into the ground as she flicked her tail back-and forth, her eyes narrowing in a glare. She'd never been in a clan, a place where you were guaranteed safety as a young cat. She wasn't even a kittypet- Savina was born into this life, and she wished she could've joined a clan- but alas, it seemed too late for her. At least I've got a friend now- Ratthroat.

"F-Fin?" Feather padded back, just enough for Birch to break free and make a blind dash past Savina. Fin inched forward to give chase, but his eyes snap back to the shecat and he pauses mid step.

Ratthroat watched the kit flee past him, and stood up as tension seemed to be growing. "What is she doing?" he asked himself.

"Nice, Feather." Fin gave an annoyed growl, then leaned towards Savina, "Innocent? He stole from me! And you, has no one taught you to keep your nose clean? Here, I'll show you!" he reaches out to smack her square in her muzzle. Feather looks like he's about to make a run for it.
