Scalepaw had no idea where he was going but he went out of the forest and trips onto a rock" AH!!" he yells tumbling onto the highway, he gets up shaking his pelt as he shook himself he looked up and sees a car coming towards him, he falls down in pain with his leg and body bleeding after the car hits him hard,

Rabbiteye stormed out of the cave, his fur bristling. "Scalepaw!" he called angrily. He sniffed the ground for a scent trail. It was already growing stale. He began to follow it quickly. Just as he was entering a wood he heard a yowl.

Rabbiteye pricked his ears in the direction of the noise. He sprang forward and started running like he was chasing a rabbit, weaving his way around the trees. He stopped at the top of a small cliff and looked down ad a thunderpath below.

His heard heard stopped cold at the sight of what was laying on it. "NO!" he yowled and leaped down to the body. Scalepaw was still breathing, his flanks heaving up and down. Rabbiteye grabbed his scruff in his jaws and began tugging as a monster started roaring toward them. He tried not to look at the mangled mess of Scalepaw's hind leg as he hauled the apprentice off the thunderpath and up the crumbly dirt.

Scalepaw groaned in pain, as he opened his eyes a tad he saw Rabbiteye and other, he closed his eyes not remembering what else had happened,

"It's OK," said Rabbiteye, sniffing his wounded leg, "I'll get you to Cowpaw and he can heal you, but first lets get out energy up. I'll go get some food and water."

Rabbiteye bounded away. Prey was hard to find and it was some time before he managed to find and catch a robin. He soaked some moss in a stream then brought his catch to Scalepaw. "Here, eat up," he said, dropping the bird at Scalepaw's paws.

Scalepaw opened his eyes not knowing what happened, he lifted his head slowly feeling the pain he couldn't get up," w-what happened?" he says not remembering a thing, he looked at Rabbiteye remembering only his mentor, he tries to get up but couldn't as he was in to much pain to do anything

Rabbiteye hung his head. "Y-you where hit by a monster," he mewed, "but Cowpaw will heal you." He hoped that he could.

Scalepaw didn't know what to say now remembering after his mentor told him what happened he began to have that as a nightmare, he shrugged and shriveled remembering that he would be haunted by the monster, he smiled at his mentor knowing that everything will be fine as long as they have each other" i shouldn't have followed you to the starcave or else none of this would have happened" he says sadly in a mew

scalepaw sighed knowing he needs to spill it" yes i followed you to starcave, i stayed silent so you wouldn't catch me, i made the noise in starcave before i ran out, and i kicked the rock on accident with my tail, i was gonna head to camp but i got lost, all i wanted was to see what you were up to thats all i never wanted this to happen" he says covering his leg with his tail, he looked away from Rabbiteye with his ears back ashamed of following rabbiteye when she said not to

Rabbiteye didn't know how to comfort the apprentice or what to say to him. "You are a good stalker," he tried, "I had no idea you where following me until the Starcave." He nudged the bird closer.
