Crumbling Bridge (OPEN)

A large, dull orange cat with a heavily scarred pelt ran across the edge of the bridge. A startled magpie with broken wings desperately ran as fast as it could. The cat claws outstretched, racing for the back of the magpie. The bird ran faster, making terrified chirps.

The large cat slammed their claws onto the magpie and it flung off the bridge, landing with a sickening cracking noise. The cat jumped off, hissing. They whipped their head around, looking to see if there were any twolegs or other rouges nearby, and picked up the magpie.

The large cat crawled into a vast opening in the bridge, which looked to be crumbling. Inside was a creamy white she-cat with elegant, soft fur. Her eyes were a bright lime green and around her neck was a purple collar. The cats touched noses, purring, and the large cat set down the magpie.

The kittypet hungrily scarfed it down, while the tom licked his foot, washing his head. The she-cat purred and laid her head down. Then the crunch of a dry leaf alerted both cats. The large one whirled around, hissing. "Who's there?" He said in a stern, deep voice. His claws, still unsheathed, twitched with fury.

Shadow jumped back, startled. A sharp hiss whipped out of her mouth and the fur along her spine stood on end as she crouched, claws unsheathed, ready to pounce. Her tail flicked as she watched the large Tom warily. “I didn’t mean to intrude.” She replied, calmly, but with an underlying tone of anger. “I was just hunting. I don’t mean any harm.” Her eyes flicked behind the Tom, and rested on the she-cat. Confused, she flicked her ears forward, trying to make sense of what was going on. Was- was that a kittypet? “Unless, of course, you attack me. I don’t plan on going down without a fight.” She says, settling her gaze back into the Tom, ice-cold sharpness settling in her voice.

The tom hissed. "This is my territory. How dare you hunt in it. I'm not giving it up to every hungry rat in the forest! Leave now or you'll get an actual fight, crowfood!"

firescar walked around the place, coming across a brige he jumped up to the hand rail and looked around thats in front of him, unaware a cat is nearby, he rubs his paw on his face

Tirzah watched curiously from the treeline as the cats at the bridge seemed to be in the middle of a disagreement. It must've been rather egregious, seeing as the large, ratty-looking orange Tom puffed up with an aggressive hiss. She dared to slink closer, catching sight of another - seemingly uninvolved cat sitting at the top of the hand railing. They were Leisurely grooming themselves while the heated exchange unfolded beneath the bridge. It seemed as if they hadn't noticed at all.

"You wouldn't happen to be with them would you?" she dares to whisper, trying to discreetly point with her muzzle at the cats beneath the bridge.

That response was unexpected but welcomed. Tirzah is glad that she hadn't run into some kind of bodyguard for the brute under the bridge. Her bright blue eyes scan the tom in front of her, sizing him up in the process. His posture is relaxed, so she felt as if she could let her guard down slightly, relaxing her shoulders. Letting her mottled dark grey pelt lay flat over her muscles.

"That's a relief I suppose...who are you with-?"

His attitude wasn't as amiable as she would've liked but Tirzah guessed it was better than outright aggression. The cats beneath the bridge hadn't noticed her yet, and this fact gave her the courage to pad closer to the tom on the handrail.

"Guess that makes two of us then hm?" she offers with a tilt of her head.

The bluegrey and black tomcat padded through twolegplace with no major issues,Most kitty pets were afraid of a clan cats. “Who are you talking too? Because I know it’s not me.” His tone flat as he stepped out and inter the clearing,noticing a few other outsiders. “I would highly recommend not going paw to paw with a clancat. It wouldn’t end well of any of you.”
