Russet covered his flank with his tail, since it was wounded. He couldn’t look weak in front of this idiot. @SpiritedWarrior

“Fine then. Have fun trying to get out,” Thorn replied with a growl as he began to turn away. “Also, have fun starving. I don’t let any trespasser take my prey.”

With that, the tabby and white tom stalked off. Should I kill him now? Nah… I’ll do it later. He’s bound to have no choice but to trust me if he wants to leave…

Russet’s fur flew up. “Wait!” he hissed, and limp/darted over to Thorn. “Why do you need my name to let me free.” He watched the other cat, silently begging for an answer. @SpiritedWarrior

The tom stopped and sighed when he was told to wait. Finally made his decision... this'll be fun. Thorn turned around and glared at Russet. Mouse-brain had no idea who he's talking to...

"I need to know who's passing through my territory. You know, I have to understand my visitor, and I can't fully do that unless I have the name."

“Fine. Russet then.” Russet snapped. “Now lead me out of here.” He started walking, though stopped to wait for Thorn to go first. He motioned him forward with his paw. @SpiritedWarrior

Thorn smirked and looked at Russet, "Name's Thorn."

The tom padded forward, not bothering to look back at the other tom. Just a bit farther... once we get on that wall I'll take him out!

"How'd you get here in the first place?" he asked.

"That's all that you'll really find around here is crow-food. That and rats..." he grumbled. "Nothing else unless you count twoleg garbage..."

Let's see how strong this cat really is... "When I was a kit, my fur was a bit spikier. That was until I learned to groom myself, of course," Thorn explained. "That's how I got my name."

Thorn lifted his head, studying the terrain ahead. Perfect! The wall is just up ahead.

"Up ahead there's a large twoleg wall. We walk across it and then you'll be out of my territory," he informed. And you'll be dead...

Russet chuckled. “Alright we’d better be on our way then.” He meowed, and began walking. He walked toward the wall, and stopped one he was next to it. He looked back at Thorn. “His one right?” He grunted, in his usual bored sounding tone. @SpiritedWarrior

"This one, yes," he smiled. "Go ahead and go in front of me. If you fall, I'll be able to get to you faster."

Thorn nodded his head and lifted a paw, "Go on." Once he's on it, I'll leap and kill... should be simple. For the moment, the tom remained his friendly self- perhaps his plan would work after all...

Russet nodded his thanks. “Alright. Up I go-“ With a grunt of effort, the injured tom hoisted himself upward, and onto the fence. He stood at the top, and gazed down, before glancing at Thorn.
