Aster’s eyes widened in excitement and wonder. “Woah, you swim? That’s awesome!” She fell quiet, starting at the tom as she wondered how he did it. Then she shook her head, reminding herself that Cactuspaw had asked her a question. “We eat whatever we can catch, for the most part. Mice, squirrels, the occasional bird. I’ve never had fish, though. What’s it taste like?”

”I’d love to,” Aster replied, her mew eager. “I live back that way.” With her tail, the she-cat gestured to the direction she had come from. “It’s where my Ma and Pa live. My two siblings, too.”

Aster paused, a bit confused by his question. “Well, my Ma and Pa are my parents... and my siblings were born alongside me. We’re my parents’ first litter, so I don’t have any other family besides them.” She paused, wondering if there’s anything else she should say. “We don’t live with any other cats, it’s just my family.”

Living with a large group sounded fun and exciting- she was willing to bet that there was always some sort of excitement going on. “You said there was more than one clan, though? Do you ever visit the others?” On occasion, Aster and her family would go to visit friends of her parents, fellow rogues as she now knew they were called.
