Joe shivered. He couldn't imagine eating a live animal. All the fur, and blood. Just, ech. "I'm surprised you didn't throw up," he commented. He gave a short laugh he his brother mentioned the dog. "Typical of a dog. They act all fierce until they come across something like a mouse. Then, they run away."

"So do my housefolk. I got treated like a blessing when I killed it," Galahad said, looking slightly proud. "Besides, are you really able to survive on the garbage humans throw out? Don't you know their mouths touch that?"

"I don't eat that all the time," Joe mewed slowly, shuffling his paws. "It's just the scraps." He realized that usually meant that the humans had eaten off of it. "Anyways, they obviously don't want it anymore, so I don't want it to go to waster," he went on hurridly.

Joe humphed as Galahad stretched out. He wished he had thought of that idea himself. He couldn't necessarily do that now, or it would look like he was copying. He gave his chest a few quick licks and meowed snootily, "humans offer me food all the time. It's usually pretty good, too."

Joe's gaze sharpened and he glared down his brother. "I wonder how you aren't starving then," he shot back. Suddenly alarmed, he twisted around to check on his long white fur. Satisfied with it's condition, he meowed, "And it's not my fault I'm skittish. You were the one that startled me."

"You look like you got puked on by the forest" Galahad shot back, letting out a slow yawn. "And I'm not starving because I can hunt and get fed by my housefolk. Two points over you, little brother."

Joe shook his head, chuckling. "At least I don't spend all my time and energy running after nasty mice. And my housefolk feed me just fine," he retorted, feeling the need to stand up for them. He quite liked them, and wasn't really sure what he would do without them.

"I don't do it all the time," Galahad argued, refusing to sit up. "You're just sensitive to food. I don't know what you would have done if you were one of those cats that live in the wild."
