Remaining briefly in his starfish position, Condorpaw spit a bit of dirt from his tongue before clambering to his paws. Confident in his definitely amazing execution of the move, he nodded along to Lionwhisker's praise, chest puffed out. He'd have to try his advice next time! And thank the stars he didn't snap at him for just doing the move - Lion was definitely higher up on his list now... well, not higher than Sweetpaw... and he did make that porcupine joke earlier...

"A position?" He raised a furrowed brow, lips pursed with curiosity, "What do ya mean? Like? Hunting position?"

Sunnywillow stifled a roll of her eyes when her mate appeared. She knew the tom had long since begun to realize that she wasn’t nearly as devoted to him as he was to her, and had decided to step up her facade. Appearances meant nothing if her own mate knew enough to sell her out. He couldn’t be allowed to continue noticing her disdain or he’d have to have an accident. As it was, she couldn’t do anything even slightly counter to her facade with his suspicions heightened. Thus, when Fernglow lay beside her, Sunnywillow turned on her stellar acting and cooed lovingly,

“Fernglow!”

She knew that if he was suspicious of her manipulation that he wouldn’t be fooled by a sudden switch, so her only choice was to act as though she was actually falling in love with him, rather than continuing to act like she was in love. The pale golden molly blinked at herself in surprise and cleared her throat uncomfortably, offering a quickly sheepish smile before fading it into one of love. Her eyes twinkled at him reflexively, but she looked away like she didn’t want him to see.

“Oh, the weather is absolutely divine! If only we knew where our little Soaringpaw was. We could all go for a walk together. Perhaps you might escort me on a walk later, if you aren’t busy with your warrior duties.”

Her gentle tone turned to one of poorly hidden pride as she pretended to be proud of her mate for his skills. Of course, she possessed equal skills, but the clan didn’t know that. As far as every other cat knew, she couldn’t do much more than hunt for herself and protect the nursery during an attack.

When Fernglow’s tail covered her back, Sunnywillow melted into him, then stiffened as though she were shocked. Her bright grey eyes flicked to his and then to her paws as she slowly allowed her body to relax into him again.

She had spent the last half hour sitting in her nest grooming her fur, she didn’t want to wake anyone so she had stayed put until Blackmoor got her, out of respect for her denmates.

Generic? What? What is she saying right now? His blue eyes darkened in a quizzical expression until it dawned on him the last second. "Huh." He didn't like the look she's giving him and wasn't sure if that was a cocky attitude she was giving him. "You rise with the birds, hm? Do you know what birds do after that?" he growled. "They get busy with duties! Rule one, don't make me wait for you. You should've already been out, ready to train and all that." The black warrior started to head out of camp not breaking his fast pace. It's either catch up or get lost. "Follow."

"Wh--" Sycamorerain was about to start asking another random question, when Snowmist suddenly leaped up and began zooming in circles around the clearing. "What the?" The other warrior was no doubt extremely energetic, almost like a kit or younger apprentice. Blinking a few times, he smiled a little, still confused yet amused by her behavior.

She climbed a tree. "I'm FINALLY taller that you!" She said, her chest puffed out. "Ughhh I have /way/ too much energy-"

Ivorypaw didn’t like him, she couldn’t take them much longer, but she’d suck it up and act like she could tolerate him. So she did what she could. She’d follow him to the territory and try to suck up whatever he was going to make her do, hopefully battle training.

Aaaaand...now she had scampered to the top of a tree? Looking up, Sycamorerain was profoundly bewildered as to where this cat got all her energy from. "Be careful up there!" he called, slightly worrying about the other warrior's safety. The height of the tree, combined with her bouncy gait and extreme energy did not seem like a good mix. If she started hopping around up there, there's a good chance she might miss a branch and fall. Padding to a spot directly underneath the tree, the warrior looked straight up, waiting to see if Snowmist would come back down.

She poked her nose trough the leaves. "C'mon!" She said, hugging the tree tightly. She stared at his nervous face. "Fine...!" She said playfully, then climbed down carefully. "Better?" she mewed, tipping her head.

"Yes, much better," Sycamorerain mewed, dipping his head. "I thought you might start bouncing around up there, and accidentally fall, or maybe snap the branch." He shuddered, trying not to think of the negative outcomes that could've arisen had she done what he'd just described. "But since you came down, crisis averted. For now at least." He sat back and smiled, waiting to see what feat she would do next.
