"..Back when you were an apprentice, how was training?" a strange question perhaps, especially for Gingerfrost but it was something he just sort of.. Wondered, maybe? Partially because, if he remembered correctly, Lotusheart had become an apprentice early, no?

Lotusheart tipped her head to the side. Had something gone wrong with his training? Did he have an apprentice now?
"Well, my first mentor Petalwish completely ignored me. Then I received a new mentor, Leopardblaze. She was a very good mentor and very eager to teach me. She taught me the basics and I figured sommestuff out myself. Overall, she was a great mentor. Now that I have Wolfpaw I'm trying to let them do his own thing and learn at his own pace. Brightpaw recently passed her assessment, by the way. Anyway, is everything OK? "she asked, concerned for his well-being.

Halfpaw walked up to Lionstar. Before she sent Gentlethunder and Dayheart to help Blizzardsky, she needed to let someone know the patrol was done.
"Lionstar, sir. Sootflare, sir. I'm bringing the report for Blizzardsky's patrol because he's stuck. Blizzardsky and Eelpaw's assigned third patrol partner never showed up and Eelpaw asked for me to come along. While we were at Sedgewater Vaey, we marked the borders as we were supposed to, but Blizzardsky got one of his paw's stuck so he asked me to come back and get help. I think Eelpaw stayed with him, but Dayheart and Gentlethunder are coming to help unstuck Blizzardsky

Probably way too long and drawn out for Luonstar's liking, but it was the whole truth and hopefully explained why it was late and why Halfpaw was the one bringing the report.

Shadowkit dodged and went to pick up the mossball. He batted it towards Splashkit. (oof no worries)

Hmm, they had the Toebaby and the Almondhead, and his favorite Sassyfire. He didn't see the warrior when he approached the apprentices, but he didn't let this deterre him. "Alright, let's head out you two. Sassyfire [ @implimm], feel free to catch up!" No point on waiting on them - they didn't have all day.

Tail swishing, Lionstar trotted out of camp, expecting Beanpaw and Almondpaw to follow.

Duckbounce walked over to her apprentice and the unfamiliar cat. "Morning!" It was one of the days where the molly was very energetic, which was good, considering they'd be on a patrol. "Are we ready to head out?"
