I have an unrequited love triangle plot that needs realization.
Petalflight of Thunderclan is prepared to stumble upon love at the border.
Her story:
17 moons ago Petalkit was born in Shadowclan to Elmshadow and Goldenstep. Too young to remember anything, she was taken from Shadowclan by her mother and out to the outskirts. After her elder sister left to return to Shadowclan, their mother followed after and never returned due to a fatal altercation with a fox. Petal flight’s first memory of that time was being alone in the outskirts, starving and fending for herself. She was soon “taken in” by a couple rogues. She was taught to hunt and fight and spent the following moons doing one of the rogue’s dirty work as she picked fights with clan cats. In this time she met Blackpaw of Thunderclan and befriended him. The downfall of the rogue group started when the leader picked a fight with a Thunderclan patrol which included Petal’s longtime friend, now
Blackfir. Petal turned against her rogue companions and joined Thunderclan. Blackfir has since started allowing himself to accept his growing feelings for Petalflight though Petalflight sees Blackfir only as a friend. While he’s kind and fun, she will never understand his passion and unrelenting belief in the clans’ way of life.
Now the next chapter:
Petalflight finds herself in conversation with a Windclanner/Shadowclanner/Riverclanner at the border or at a Gathering and is surprised to have found a kindred spirit among the clan cats, a cat who is open to questioning Starclan and the Warrior Code. Over a few interactions across the border or at Gatherings, she finds herself truly looking forward to talking to this tom and caring about him.
And then things take a turn…
Blackfir starts noticing Petalflight’s absences and follows her, catching her at the border being affectionate with the other tom. Being a staunch supporter of clan life and the warrior code, he uses the tom’s proximity to the border and warping what he sees to accuse the tom of attacking or manipulating a Thunderclanner(Petalflight), though he knows very well what’s actually happening and is simply blind with jealousy. He attacks the tom but the tom ultimately ends up killing Blackfir.
This will likely be the end of Petalflight’s relationship with the tom as well since she did still care about Blackfir as a friend but she will also potentially be leaving Thunderclan to return to the outskirts. Considering Petalflight’s demeanor, the tom will likely be getting ghosted rather than dumped though. Petalflight will not be outwardly angry but will simply never return to the border or another gathering. However, once in the outskirts, she will discover she is pregnant. Maybe this all comes back around for a more long term plot
, that can be addressed when the time comes.
Requirements:
- Must be a tom amab
- Around 17-20 moons old
- In Windclan or Riverclan or Shadowclan [No Thunderclan or outsiders]
- Willing to remorselessly kill a Thunderclanner who attacked him
- Questioning or not totally sold on the stringent clan ways
- STAY ACTIVE if we need to speed up the progression of everything I’d be totally open for accommodating just about anything, but please don’t let him go inactive and leave Petal hanging
