Smokestar uncurled herself from her nest in the Leaders Den. She yawned softly before heading out and down the stairs, into the main clearing of the camp. She smiled at Shadowleaf and Addlerhearts interaction. Her Deputy could be grouchy at times, but was really a softy for her clan. Smokestar smiled, "That's great news Shadowleaf! Have you thought of any names yet?" Smokestar knew the young queen would be a great mother to her kits. The she-cat had been a close second in her choice for deputy, but had decided to go with the more experienced Addlerheart instead. Smokestar's eye flickered up to the star shaped patch on the departing queens ear, before quickly averting her eyes.

Smokestar turned to look at her deputy. "What is the matter Addlerheart?" she meowed calmly. Smokestar knew her deputy was fairly confident in her abilitys, making her wonder what could cause such a reaction.

I think ill name my first born smokekit, and ,maybe even viperkit after adder heart" she smiled at adderheart, then turned her attention back towards her leader.

Addlerheart feigned a kind look, and shook her head, “Sure Shadowleaf. I’ll see you around later, I’m gonna go and get some moss for you now because I have a sneaking suspicion Fireleaf isn’t going to follow through.”

(Remember that kits are given rogue or kittypet names at first, so it would be smoke or viper, with no suffix at the end)

Icefur bounded across the fall river with confident steps. He smiled broadly, enjoying the feeling of mist and wind on his pelt. He briefly stopped to consider catching a fish or two, but decided to keep heading towards the border. He could always get fish on the way back.
