Darkoak looked at Fadedwhisker, "Fought off 3 full grown warriors in the battle and haven't seen the medicine cat. Other then that, fine." He mewed. Darkoak sat down. "Sapphirestorm, were are you?" He mumbled. The tom waved his tail, scooping up a few pieces of moss from the pile. He gently folded the moss into Moonfangs nest. Darkoak waved his tail, "I need help..." Darkoak muttered.

"No, you shouldn't have to do that." He mewed. Much good you did Sapphirestorm...you weren't even here to fight. Leaving Moonfang, hmp...what a warrior. He pushed the old moss into a pile, then thought about Stormpelt. What happened to her? He thought.

Not as far as she knew, anyway, and even if there was, he would be in trouble for it afterwards and she would have a new mentor, one that wouldn't hurt her. B-but he won't. She thought confidently. It was a trick Cedarpaw had taught her...changing her thoughts to be confident and positive would somehow change her whole outlook on life...something that the cream she cat needed.

She waited for his reply, looking up at him with her blue hues, her tail twitching nervously although her expression was curious. Despite being scared, she still had her kit-like sense of curiosity with her, and she wanted to know more about this cat. He seemed fairly...neutral. Not excited, or angry that she was there...just okay with it. Does he like me? Does he not like me? Wait, what am I thinking, he doesn't even know me yet! I'm sure he'll like me, right? Sweetpaw thought with a small chuckle, so quiet that it was almost inaudible. But not quite; if you were listening closely, you could hear the faintest sound that was clear and soft, almost like a bell ringing. She could feel her throat and chest constricting again with anxiety, and hoped that perhaps things would get better as the two grew to know each other.

What little of a tail the tom had flicked a bit as Sweetpaw attempted to verify his name, his gaze flitting away and his head nodding slightly to show that she was correct in remembering his name, his muzzle screwing up a moment as if his nose had an itch before relaxing and his gaze focusing back on the new apprentice with a quiet sigh. Don't get too annoyed with her, your her teacher. She doesn't know anything and this won't last forever anyways.
"Yes, Ibisprowl is my name. Anyways, uh, since this is your first day of training, I'm taking you out into the territory to show you around. Come on."
Clearing his throat, the tom turned around, flattened his ears for a moment before starting off for the camp entrance, not bothering to look over his shoulder because he expected the young she-cat to follow, that's what his command 'come on' meant, it wasn't very difficult, or at least he didn't think so.

The sooner we get this over with, the sooner I can be alone again. Besides, there's not much to showing her around the territory, just show her the borders, a few key landmarks, that's it. Easy. You don't even really have to teach her anything today. Thought the tom to himself as he trekked to the entrance, only pausing once he get to it to look at her before he spoke up again, though his voice, like before, was very quiet.
"Now this isn't going to be some walk in the park, we're going to run alright?"
She's not going to be able to run the whole way.
His muzzle twitched and he groaned internally, turning his head away from her.
"But if you absolutely must stop then tell me and we'll take a break, we have a lot of ground to cover."
With that having been said, the black and white patched warrior took off into the territory, not quite at top speed, but at a fairly fast-paced jog that bordered on a light run, which should be fairly easy for the young she-cat to follow.

Blackblaze felt a large grin spread across his face as the Molly scooted closer. He felt all warm and fuzzy inside and felt his ears grow hot. He decided to take a risk and twirled his tail with hers.

(What? Blackblaze making the first move? He must really like this girl... -maniacal laughter-)
