SnowStar sat on the HighRock of her clan, her tail tucked neatly over her front paws, her pointed ears swiveling as she listened to the wind blow over the canyon. She got to her paws and ran up to the tip of the rock. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under the HighRock!" She called.

[Spikes]

Cottontip's ears swivelled towards the direction of the clan leader's call. She climbed down from her "viewing post" and padded to the highrock on which the leader sat. She sat down in front of the highrock in response, delicate tail swaying.

Clay heart sorted through the herbs delicately,carefully not to make the withering ones crack. please let there be more in green leaf. she thought,seeing how little there was.when she finished,she walked out of her den,sitting down in the sunlight

Morningspirit stood from where she had been cleaning her pelt. He eyes cast over to the leader and she shook out her pelt before padding over to beneath the highrock and taking a seat, eyes on Snowstar.

SnowStar scanned the cats below briefly than began. "This is the beginning of a new clan." She meowed, her voice strong and hopeful. "We have hardly been here for a moon. We have few warriors and have only just established our territory. We have no kits, apprentices and the medicine cat has just barely got enough herbs to begin her job of being a medicine cat. I have just returned from the Moonstone." She paused and waited for mews of agreement. "Show no hostility to rouge cats. I know how crazy the idea seems, but listen. Convince any rouges or loners to join. Only show hostility if they attack first. If any of you encounter any kits that are abandoned or a cat willing to give one up, do so. I know that few of you have mates, so we must wait for kits." She hung her head for a moment and faced the deputy for a second then the rest of the clan. "Understood?"

"Yes, Snowstar." the russet she-cat bowed her head in understanding. She was glad the clan leader was accepting abandoned kits.

Morningspirit listened to every word the leader had to offer. Good, I couldn't hurt a cat or ignore a kit anyway. She thought to herself. She liked Snowstar, she was a kind leader and Morningspirit knew she would enjoy having her as a leader.

Clay heart nodded,understanding the Rouge's joining the new clan. we just established the clan.I'm sure I will find herbs. clay heart reassured herself. plus it's not as if we will have many fights.we are the only clan.

SnowStar raised her head and turned to her den. "SteelGlare!" She called. "I wish to speak with you."
