Tearing my gaze away from the terrifying visage in the mirror, I walked towards the door to get a closer look- not spotting the shadowy gaze that followed my every move from the mirror, my reflection still there and watching me. I touched the door, surprised to find that the door was made of wood- it was such a deep, rich black after all. It’s frame was silver with designs etched into every square inch and rubies set into the four corners. It was beautiful, despite the eerie feeling it game me. With a quick tug on the door handle, I opened it up and peered through into a dark room similar to the previous, the only thing standing out being a silver and ruby key standing on a stone pedestal, and a rock roughly the same size nearby. I couldn’t see any locks, but obviously the key was important.
[CHOICE 3]
A. Grab the key without replacing it with the rock
B. Grab the key and replace it with the rock
C. Go back into the first room and investigate the mirror again- perhaps you’ll find a clue?

I gained-

I crept forward carefully, driven only by curiosity and held back slightly by my own cautiousness. I hadn’t had the time to reflect on myself until now, slowly approaching the key and rock. Lulled into a false sense of security, I began considering my situation. I didn’t remember anything- there were no memories, only imprints on how to preform basic human functions. Furthermore, I wasn’t sure if I was male or female- rather, I could only feel a distinct sense of haughtiness and pride after considering the two genders. Perhaps I am Nothing. Perhaps I am Everything. Everything seemed right to me, so I went with that.
There was a sharp click beneath my foot. I looked down to see a pressure plate of sorts, blending in perfectly with the surrounding darkness, press d down beneath my weight. The floor began to give out beneath me, crumbling to shards of glass as I began racing forward. Picking up the rock, I grabbed the key and slammed the rock onto the pedestal hoping to avoid any more traps. My hands clutching the key tightly to my chest, I plunged into the abyss and fell towards something uncertain. I could feel my decent slow and I landed on another black glass floor with four objects in each corner. A sword, a shield, a book, and a staff.

B. Take the Shield (Defense)
C. Take the Book (Healing)
D. Take the Staff (Magic)
