Mossfreckle chuckled because he knew little more he could do, to let the kit bite him would mean giving into the poor manners and that was not something he was willing to comprise. Yet, as Wispkit looked up him with their little eyes as wide as the full moon with playful anger Mossfreckle found it hard to resist… he would but stars it was hard to resist the small pleading eyes of the future.

Dipping his oriental shaped head down to nudge the kit playfully - cation flared in their mossy hues as their gaze stayed locked on the kits sharp bitey mouth - “Welp, then we must find a more productive way to make you happy then must we,” Mosefreckle purred with a playful glint in his mossy gaze. Redirect, teach, encourage the future to the clan, his mind reminded him in unspoken goals, his white tipped paws pressed into the most earth as he prepared to jump out of the way of the kits tiny teeth once again - always be prepared.

Pale green eyes peered from the apprentice's den, watching the clearing warily. Finally, she stepped out of the shadows of the den, and Chipmunkpaw had her sights on another apprentice. Eggpaw, right? Well she was about to find out. Scampering up to him, the small dark brown apprentice stopped and stared up at him, her eyes wide.

"Um..hi." Chipmunkpaw mewed, "Would you like to play? O-Or something?" She didn't know any battle moves, or any hunting techniques. She had yet to be out for her first training with her mentor, Nightwolf, but she wasn't going to pester him...yet. "I-I'm Chipmunkpaw...by the way..." She added after a moment, looking down as she scuffed her paws in the sand.

Brooding. This was his brooding expression. That meant Eggpaw was brooding. Exactly what he was brooding over, however, was beyond him. Still, if he had a brooding face on, it meant he was brooding. ... That was a lie. His face rarely betrayed his feelings. At least it looked like he was doing something though.
A little voice broke through his thoughts, and he glanced down to find a young apprentice looking at him. Ugh, couldn't she see she was disturbing his very important- Never mind, it didn't matter.
Play? What about his appearance suggested he was the cat to play with? Maybe his expression wasn't broody enough... "Uh... Sure, what you got in mind?"
Wait, did he just say that? Eggpaw gave his whiskers a twitch. "I'm Eggpaw."

Her expression lit up when he agreed to play, and she bounced on her paws in excitement. But what to play? She sat back to think, and oh was she thinking hard; One could see it on her face. Her brows knit together, her nose scrunched, and she squeezed her eyes shut.

"Oh! What if we played hide and seek!" She gasped out after a full minute, and she beamed up at Eggpaw, purring, "It could be good to practice hiding and seeking, right? It's like uh...training too!" Chipmunkpaw hoped the much older apprentice wouldn't think that too silly...she wanted to test her own skills too, and moss-ball was totally a kit game. She was an apprentice! Any game she could think of needed to help her on her own skills...right?

She gazed up at Eggpaw, her pale green eyes wide pools of hopefulness.

Silent crow sat in the clearing with a happy smile on her face as the bright sun warmed her back. she looked around at her clan til she saw her mate frostcloud and walked over
