Grovepaw emedietly felt bad for deadpaw hearing that he was parentless . no one should be left alone like that ... then his eyes widened once the apprentice yowled ,fear could be seen in his eyes making him shake his head trying to get rid of the evidence that he was afraid . He looked at deadpaw in the eye this time and fluffed his own fur out "just try to get rid of us " he challenged with a hiss but what he didn't know with what he said will end his life . Now remembering that this was a battle and they were trying to protect their home he crouched and dashed at deadpaw with his claws sheathed " Ghostpaw c'mon ! Like we said " he shouted back at his brother

Ghostpaw looked sympathetic for an instant.He had everything he could ask for in riverclan.Siblings,parents,friends.He could only guess how it felt to be as alone as Deadpaw.He was snapped out of his thoughts when his brother called.He had almost forgotten he was in a battle.Ghostpaw charged at the apprintice,but he didn't have to go to far sense they had been talking.When he was in range,He lashed out at him,trying to claw his side.He had only had one training session,but all of it left his mind.He didn't know if it was because of panic,or because he ndidnt have time to think.He wished he had had more time to battle train before the battle.
