How do you close a thread?
I made this thread as a mate finder for a character, and I found a user who is willing. So how do I mark the thread as closed?

I'm not sure, I usually just go on my first post and write closed in REALLY big letters in red

I'm sure there is a way to officially close it so that no one can respond. I've seen it on multiple threads.
