Blazingstar entered the clearing, his eyes already lit with a fire. He gaze focused solely on Fallenstar, ears half-way pinned as he sat himself down a few tail lengths in front of the feline. He greeted no one, didn't care what anyone else was doing, he had one goal tonight. StarClan had given him a reason to declare war on the clan. They had given everyone a reason to turn on RiverClan. He had overheard what Daydream was saying and took the moment to jump to conclusions. This was all his fault.

"Fallenstar is the issue then. Isn't it obvious his leadership is going to jeopardize the safety of our clans?" he spoke bitterly, finally tearing his gaze away from the ebony feline to see the expressions on the other leaders faces. "He's a danger to his own clan!" he continued. "That's what StarClan is trying to say. Fallenstar is going to lead the clans to war! He's going to be the reason we lose cats, he must step down! RiverClan's leadership is corrupt, just as it was before with... Bucknight," he hissed, ears flattening all the way. His gaze rested threateningly on Fallenstar now. The angry he felt towards the crazy tom was deep in his chest.

While what he said was a little dramatic, no one could deny it couldn't make sense. The visions the medicine cats had seen linked back to a river. RiverClan was the reason for this vision and at that moment, this was the only solution Blazingstar had.

Passionstar approached the other leaders, maybe a bit disheveled. He was not counting on being called to a meeting at this time. While he felt that his days were hectic, he still did his duty like he was supposed to. Lacking a second-in-command, it did little to show that he was disturbed by that fact. Instead, he led his clan that he was supposed to, and when he saw the other leaders, he quickly groomed the spikes of his fur to - at least - look a bit presentable for this event. His nose scrunched up a bit, hoping that good news would finally be delivered.

He took his seat, tail wrapped around him, covering his paws, reminding himself to practice poise, sitting up straight without any slack as he nodded respectfully to everyone, but he didn't say a word. His nose wrinkled, eyes blinking at Daydream as the medicine cat began to speak. An omen...of course...about riverclan? Passionstar always believed in the stars, putting his utter most trust in them. Heck, he had normal conversation with the stars as if they were his friends. He was just a little confused, so his ears stayed picked, listening to anything and everything to gather information. Only for Blazingstar to speak abruptly after. Passionstar felt his fur pick up slightly, hackles almost raised. He always thought of Fallenstar as a friend, not someone who was an endangerment to their own clan. While he didn't see himself completely believing such riffraff, Passionstar had undeniable faith in Starclan. Why else would they send it? Honestly, he was at a lost, tilting his head a bit, breathing heavily. ''...sounds a bit redundant, maybe? Don't be so ridiculous, Blazingstar.'' His words were stifled slightly, continuing to process words to get an understanding of his own opinion.

Shinefang could have laughed out loud at Ringpaw’s question if he didn’t feel so weighed down. Was he certain? Of course not. He wasn’t certain about anything. He wasn’t certain what the vision meant, he wasn’t certain if his leader was right, he wasn’t even certain what he believed!

Slatepelt... where are you? Can’t you see I need your help?

With a sideways glance, he tried to convey an ease to his apprentice. A reassurance that she could stay calm. But his message was short lived. Just like that, he spotted those eyes again. That awful hollow blue made him want to yowl and claw! He hardly even noticed Daydream walking up but he did hear them when he spoke, and shockingly, he listened. Daydream hadn’t shared any of this vision at the moonpool, but as a cat, Daydream was not the type to lie. And if they weren’t lying, all of what they said seemed to point to trouble for the clans, trouble far beyond a drought.

Then, just as suddenly, Blazingstar burst in with flattened ears and his lips curled up at Fallenstar. Shinefang looked at the black cat again with his remaining eye a scrutinizing glare. Could this be true? Was Daydream’s vision a warning about how Fallenstar was leading his clan? That it would lead to corruption like in the evil era? The though made his hackles raise. But beyond this, Blazingstar was being brash as usual with his words. Shinefang looked to Grousestar and Auroraflame in turn as he wondered what they would say to this.

As Daydream had opened their maw to speak, Heatherfur admired they way they were able to keep such poise with their words. Her fur pickled with unease as they mentioned that the prophecy had something to do with RiverClan. She hadn't said it out loud to any other cat aside from Fallenstar and Rowanflower during their meeting earlier, but it was a dark shadow that plagued her every waking moment. It was about RiverClan. It had to be. Heatherfur felt it deep within her bones, as true an unwavering as her faith in StarClan was. Moons ago, this would've caused her to go running in the other direction, back to the lifestyle of a warrior where things were much more black and white. But now? The medicine cat felt a sense of purpose. A sense of leadership; if RiverClan had troubling times ahead, eyes would start to turn to her for solutions - and the tabby was ready to meet those expectations head on. She flexed her forepaws underneath her where she sat, a fire lit within the depths of her pale green eyes. RiverClan was her home now, and after the way WindClan was beginning to turn on RiverClan, Heatherfur had felt the last ties to her old home beginning to disintegrate.

This thought was only confirmed as Blazingstar barreled through, ears flat and fur bristling already as he hurled accusations towards Fallenstar. It was startling to Heatherfur to see the WindClan leader so riled up, and for a brief moment she remembered their shocking encounter on her last day in WindClan. How he had turned on her, drove her away from the home she had so desperately loved. Without much warning, a deep rooted anger swirled about her heart, pumping through her veins and causing her to stand up, her own fur beginning to bristle. This was the cat who had drove her from her own home. This was the cat who made her doubt herself. More importantly, this was the cat who hadn't kept a close enough watch on Surgestorm and allowed him to be killed by a group of foxes - at least, that was Heatherfur's opinion on it.

"Don't be such a mouse-brain, Blazingstar," she snapped, momentarily losing her cool. There was so much history bubbling to the surface between the two, some of which none of the other Clans knew about. She had forgiven him for his role in Cobraspirit's death, but now with recent events those feelings all came bubbling to the surface. "War is not the answer here, and neither is Fallenstar stepping down. Have you ever stopped to think it's the actions of the other Clans leaders that have caused this? The prophecy was about RiverClan. Something disastrous is about to happen, and you want to add war on top of that? Have you no sense in keeping the cats in your Clan safe?" It was a pointed question, and to any other cat would appear to be about the upcoming visions that Daydream had mentioned. But to Heatherfur, the words meant so much more. With her green eyes shimmering, tears threatening to spill over, it was obvious to Blazingstar how much grief the RiverClan medicine cat still carried around over her father's death. Over Sneakersong's disappearance. Over Mintberry, her closest friend and beloved sister, leaving their home because of Blazingstar. As much as she had once admired the WindClan leader - perhaps even loved him - the anger she felt had taken over, and the new loyalty towards RiverClan, Fallenstar, and Rowanflower was enough to cause her to glare daggers towards her former leader.

As Daydream began to speak, taking him from his thoughts, Grousestar would focus his gaze on them, recalling that they were Shadowclan's medicine cat. Raising a brow as the medicine cat claimed that they believed the prophecy was about Riverclan, all he could do was frown. To say in the least, he was skeptical of their interpretation of the prophecy. But before he could fully voice his own thoughts on the dream, his attention would be taken by Blazingstar, his secret ally, as he entered the clearing. His anger and grudge are ruling him. But he is my ally. Cautiously he would glance away, aware of his own heart thumping in his chest. It's a drought. That's all it is. Or maybe.. It is about Riverclan. That they're a danger to us all and they must be dealt with. Grousestar would look back at Blazingstar for a moment, trying to collect his own thoughts.
Passionstar spoke up, and the brown tabby would look at the Thunderclan leader for a moment before finally deciding to speak. "But perhaps it isn't so ridiculous Passionstar. We have all witnessed how he behaves, even under the truce of the full moon. He has no respect for the very clan who had helped to save you all from the evil leaders that gripped you." There was just a glint of anger in Grousestar's eyes as he looked back at Fallenstar, recalling the ton that the ebony tom had taken during that one particular gathering.
His head would then turn to Heatherfur as she spoke up, also against Blazingstar. "Or perhaps it's not the actions of other leaders, but his own lack of restraint. The prophecy could have very easily been about a drought, something that would effect all of the clans. Perhaps it's hinting at the possible war that Riverclan itself could be planning, maybe when the drought comes, you will control all of the water and leave the rest of us to die of thirst." The tip of Grousestar's tail had begun to flick back and forth, starting to connect the pieces to his own puzzle in his head. Maybe that's why Daydream saw fighting cats. Because they were fighting to control the disappearing water. It was beginning to make sense to him.

"i can sense your skepticism, but all the medicine cats know what they saw," they mewed. the only difference between the medicine cats and the leaders were that they were there, the leaders werent, so how dare they try and doubt the very cats that help heal their paws. "without the rivers, the forest will run dry," they repeated the line that each of the medicine cats heard when they were in starclan,"there has always been either four or five clans in this forest, taking one out will easily unbalance everything, i thought the line was pretty clear." they mewed, tail flickering in annoyance. how could these leaders not see what was right infront of them? how idiotic did they have to be to think it was a drought. "if it were a drought i would not suspect war. if riverclan was plotting one then we would not have seen a fish like looked like fallenstar himself yowling out for help." they explained briefly, trying to debunk everything they were saying with some sort of logic. "push aside your distaste for fallenstar and his mouth, launching an attack is no good. what would be the point? to prove how strong you are? to just beat the life out of him?" they were going on a full on rant, glancing at the other medicine cats for any sort of backup for what they are saying. they sat down, calming themselves as they licked their paw, swiping it over their face, amber eyes lidded as they gazed towards grousestar,"making accusations of riverclan plotting war infront of their medicine cat takes guts. why dont you ask her yourself about fallenstar."

A disgusted snort erupted from the she cats mouth as blazingstar went full hostility in a matter of seconds. Although this childish meeting was somewhat restricted to those who knew about it she couldn't help but find herself deeply enraged by his foolish accusations. At this the oriental she cat suddenly stood her ratlike tail lashing and claws sinking into the sand.

' ' says you blazingstar ' ' she snapped furiously, although the hostility was at a loss for her other Riverclan comrades she wasn't bound to let anyone walk all over them like that. ' ' need I remind you all it was in fact you blazingstar who launched an attack on thunderclan in the first place? When conflict could've easily been resolved if you'd set aside your foolish grudge? Pulling your clan into jeopardy for your own selfish gain? ' ' she spat, her face appearing physically disgusted towards the windclan tom. ' ' if anything I see you as more of a threat to your own clan so why don't you worry about them instead of chasing after his tail like a kitten ' ' she didn't care much for the so called omen, starclan wasn't her top priority right now and neither was the medicine cats. Although daydream was bringing up some peaceful jabber about how to figure out this problem she felt her stomach curl. It had gone on too long that blazingstar ran the forest this way, manipulating both Shadowclan and skyclan into believing the real enemies where riverclan. ' ' if it wasn't for your belidgerant ways I suppose this forest would've been the peaceful, but that's like you always want a fight don't you? Your problems are with thunderclan and perhaps in trying to protect them we made ourselves a target for your foolish and petty grudge ' ' she snorted lips curling over her teeth and her back arching. She than glanced between windygale than back at grousestar in a challenging way.

She knew how ignorant he was to believe he was in the right when truly he wasn't, to expect to be allowed to excercise his strength against them with two clans at his side was beyond cowardly. At least to her it was. ' ' maybe if you didn't let your personal life interfere with your leadership it wouldn't have to be this way.. ' ' she said bitterly her pale eyes narrowing to slits as she stepped back beside heatherfur. The adrenaline was pumping like crazy, coursing through her veins and causing her ears to turn bright red.

Oriolepaw's gaze flicked back and fourth between the leaders. The she-cat set an apologetic glance over at Flashpaw, before heading over to cower beside Buttercupbreeze. Blazingstar's words had struck her hard. Fallenstar may not have been the ideal leader, and though she was glad she was not in RiverClan, with all the events happening she felt the orange tom had no right to accuse Fallenstar of being the thing the prophecy was warning about. What if RiverClan was going to die? What if the other clans were the problem? She was confused and scared. Everything had happened so soon after the she-cat was made medicine cat apprentice. Surgestorm died. The prophecy. All the arguments. It was so stressful. So terrifying. Oriolepaw looked over at Heatherfur when she spoke, her gaze clearly read, I'm so sorry. But the young she-cat said and did nothing.

At Windygale's greeting Buttercupbreeze flicked her bushy tail in welcome. Though she didn't exchange and words with the tom as the situation was to tense without the protection of the truce. And with one outlandish instance after another thing were just getting worse. First off Blazingstar bluntly declares that Fallenstar must be the whole probably here and should step down. Despite being his deputy Buttercup honestly wasn't sure if he was saying that from careful consideration or because the two toms hated each others guts. Either way she was borderline on whether she agreed, as the other's spoke it was clear that everyone had their own opinion on the omen. The problem was the it concluded with the high ranking cats being divided, even though some were in the same Clan they were being divided but the tension, she could tell.
Trying to keep her thick pelt unruffled the creamy molly staid were she stood mostly observing the conversation. Her brownish eyes would never stay in one feline as her gaze shifted from on cat to the next keeping tabs on how the acted. In all honesty she was clueless on what to say it was all a bit confusing to her, she wanted to be there for Blazingstar but wasn't sure if she could. As Oriolepaw came over to her the molly glanced down at the young feline. It must be hard on her, she's so young and all this stress has to be hard on her as well. Buttercup thought brushing her tail over the apprentices back. With that she tried to give her a comforting look, though she wasn't sure if it would help.

Windygale watched, confused but unsurprised, as Rowanflower passed him and Buttercupbreeze without so much as a "hello". He glanced at Buttercup, then back at Rowan, confusion evident on his soft features. The fuzzy deputy listened intently as Daydream explained what they saw to the others, moderately surprised that the others seemed confused. Their medicine cats had told them about the vision, right? Of course, or else the meeting wouldn't have been arranged.
Windygale stared as Shinefang and Ringpaw entered, recalling what Daydream and he had talked about. Or rather, they told him about Shinefang. His ears flicked back ever so slightly, but just enough to be noticeable. Absurdly enough, Blazingstar thought that the omen meant to go to war with RiverClan. Now, his ears pinned to the back of his skull, bright amber eyes wide with disbelief. The tan feline simply gaped at the WindClan leader. 'What?' he thought, disbelief clouding his gaze. He looked toward Buttercupbreeze, seeing if she would react. But his attention was grabbed again, though, when Heatherfur, Grousestar, Daydream, and Rowanflower spoke. Their arguments were lost in the sea of his raging thoughts. Blood pounded in his ears, drowning out all of their voices. Anxiety wormed in his gut. Goldenstar couldn't attend, so he had to declare war on RiverClan. Oh, he didn't want to. He wished he could stand up there and talk. But Goldenstar trusted him. He couldn't break that trust, not directly. So, in the midst of the tense arguing, the deputy stood and walked toward the center.
He looked forward, plumed tail dragging in the sand ever so slightly. Once he stopped, he looked up, addressing all of the cats. His bright gaze dulled ever so slightly as he said, monotonously, "I'm sure you've all figured out by now that I will be the one speaking for ShadowClan, as Goldenstar is unable to at the moment." Even to im, that sounded... dreary. But he didn't change his tone, the anxiety in his gut squeezed tighter as he continued. "Goldenstar has informed me that ShadowClan will be fighting alongside WindClan, and whoever else wishes to fight, against RiverClan. Fallenstar's tyranny will end here."
Well, he'd done it. And he felt awful. He trudged back to sit by himself, on the sidelines. He was sure none of the deputies wanted to talk to him, and he was sure he'd damaged his relationship with Rowanflower. His watchful amber gaze, observed the conversation from afar.
