I joined back in June 2020, nothing special, just a kid bored during quarantine lmao.

i didn't do anything extra other than finding the time to finish my school at the time and roleplaying the characters i had at the time. just a normal member with a few others she considered friends. i didn't do much over the summers other than a few weeks of travel so during my free time i was here, roleplaying the silly battle cats i had grown attached too.

i finished my schooling at the time. moved homes and all while keeping in touch with the community that had practically grown up with me through the harder moments. then the world went back to normal and i went to a new school, nothing too out of the ordinary till around mid 2023.

i had an era of sorts lmao, i distanced myself from wco as i handled my own things. i grew apart from my friends and made some new ones that went through the same things as me, somewhat. they are my current friend group online and i wouldn't trade pin limit for the world.

april-ish of that year, the staff team at the time sent out applications. more or less, pin limit sent in applications, no real super high expectations of any of us being reached out too. then all of my older friends were offered positions, i was a little distant after that. hey, what can a girl do beyond the dramatics of life?

i tried to handle it afterwards with a sense of maturity, i wasn't a little kid anymore, basically told myself "have some decorum girl." and so i did. I grew closer with Ian again and looked up to them. then in october i sorta got the craziest offer of my three years on site. i found out i was being offered a position to work alongside my older friends, as a chat moderator. and well, you can tell by the color of my name. i took it. and now i work alongside with the person i looked and still look up to in a sense, Ian. and of course my friends, Kat, Leafi and Dark. which, i'm not going to lie, it can be rough at times but we lean on each other, we're a team and it's the best part of some of my days.

i always thought the moment i joined the team i would change into this super formal and scary person, turns out. im the same person i've always been and nothing changed other than my responsibilities around the site. you don't change because of some title or the people you're around. you change for you and that's always the best thing about this place. no pressure, no force telling you what you can and cant do (to an extent, follow guidelines kids). it's great!

before that, i sort of stuck to roleplaying with pin limit as i reentered the wco community. it was a time and i wouldn't have it any other way if i'm being honest. the community has been a huge part of my life and you all are great people. each with your own lives and things that make you wonderful!

it's been over a year now huhhhh

so there's the joining.
i joined 21st dec 2022.
not anyone welcomed me but willow tree
nobody knew me. i was a blob and the rest of WCO were... idk, giant slimes. (if that makes any sense.)
thorn(?)kit was my first clan cat, with dawn being my first cat ever.
may she rest in peace, she died in an experiment... that i never finished with elmshadow.
thorn went missing i think, then time passed. i disappeared for a bit.

then came along @Mocking Rabbit ! i got the tomato plague from them, then i joined their kit finder. ahhh, winterkit.
i was so excited to have a kit, hoping to roleplay them from birth to death.
i waited so long, then finally... they were born.

winterkit was my general focus, talon, spike and lynx coming along later.

but let's stop talking about my cats for a bit.
i have made many friends at this point in time. bubble (she was one of my best friends) and rabbit mainly, the seasonkits as friends too.

they faded out eventually. i miss the family.

lynx got into thunderclan, becoming spiderpaw. this wasn't long before/after Dragonflycliff was created, actually originally for the medicine cat position! she didn't get the role, and i was a bit disappointed.

then i think an incident happened.
we don't talk about that incident.

Rolling in here to share my nonsense I definitely dont have homework i should be doing instead, haha! What are you talking about?

Anywho, after Rainstar.webs shut down as it had been rumoured to for a while now, I was in desperate need for another roleplay site (because I was a bored gal). After surfing the web for a good while, I found this site. It was insanely daunting at first, but I still managed to customize my profile in a good hour (i love the fact that you can change the color of your account like Tumblr. It's so fun!)

Thank you, @/poppy for being my first friend on this site, my goodness you were/are such a sweetheart! And thank you @/Rose for being the first to welcome me. Plus, thank you anyone else who gave me beginners guides, I really needed them, haha!

I instantly recognized how much more complex this site is than any roleplaying site I've been on. There's a system to it, actually active cats an leaders as well as a notification bar! All the things listed was something I didn't even think was possible for a site. It was a whole entire game to me and I looked forward to checking my notifications every day after school (and I still do!)

Thank you, @/chickadee and some others for being the first to roleplay with me! That's where my journey really began as well as Marigoldkit's.

When I first joined, I thought that your username had to be your character name, so that's why I'm referred to as "Marigoldwhisper" instead of my preferred "Cocopony". But everyone already knows me as Marigoldwhisper, so there's no use in changing it, haha!

Back on Rainstar.webs, Marigoldkit was Marigoldpaw i didn't immediately make her a paw on this site purely because i believed i couldn't start as a warrior and i had to build my character ground up. Even if it was a mistake, it was a good one. I'm glad that Marigoldkit is well.. a kit! I feel like it's better for her.

Deerspark would be my second oldest character aside from Marigoldkit. I merely thought of the name on impulse and decided to make him IMMEDIATELY. Now, he's one of my favorites! I just freaking love Deerspark and his stammering self!

Before this thing gets to long, I just wanna thank everyone here for being so kind and approachable, you guys freaking rock! I'll probably add more to this later on, but as of right now, I have three essays to write
