Aradia woke up and walked over to the window. The sun was shining as she stared out at her Kingdom. Her silk gown trailing behind her. North town is peaceful now, but how long before there is war? she sat on the window sill, thinking.

Cleo tilted her head thoughtfully, "I suppose that makes sense. If you want to know about allies for our kingdoms, though, you need to talk to my brother, Levi. He's the heir to the throne." She looked outside. "Sometimes, I feel like we're all on the brink of war, with some of the barley held back hostilities with North Town. It's hard to tell, though."

Cleo smiled and nodded, looking away as she blushed slightly. She brought the stew up to her lips, eating it slowly. Her eyes wandered around the room, looking at the various people in the tavern, talking and laughing. Sometimes she wished that she could have a carefree life of a townsperson. Her mind flashed to an image of a woman on the streets, begging for food to feed her daughter. Her stomach turned, and she felt a surge of gratitude for the family she was born into.
