He had never seen a leader act in such a way, they had always been cold-faced, or serious...a little too serious in his opinion. He was about to butt in and escort her down to the medicine cat's den when she congratulated him, and when she did so he felt his stomach churn. All those horrible, suppressed, negative emotions began to resurface, making the tom physically sink into the pain. Those emotions he tried so hard to push down now boiled over his soul, like the water pouring over too little of a container. He was a leader now, how in the world could he forget? He had become the very thing he despised the most, did that mean he now hated himself? He shook his head and pushed those thoughts aside and once again suppressed those emotions he vowed to keep under control for Honeypool. He replaced his serious, vaguely pained, expression with that of a strained smile "Thank you." he said, unsure of what else to say.

He was still eminent on taking Snowstar down to the medicine cat, but he made himself coftrable once more as she stated that it involved Riverclan as a whole. Once she finished he let out a low hum, indicating that he was thinking, and indeed he was, he was thinking deeply about the situation at hand. Fallenstream knew that a war was about to break loose, but he never thought that it was going to be him making the decision. The ebony feline let out a drawn out breath and looked up at Snowstar, his lapis hues flickered with hesitation " Snowstar, I apologize, but we're still recovering from our recent rank changes, with Geckoleaf gone and Russetstar stepping down, I still have to choose a deputy. But, this isn't a no. Once I've decided I will go to your camp and tell you, but now isn't the best time...I'm still processing everything that's happened, heck, I haven't even gotten my nine lives yet." he sighed, his tail tip twitching. He adverted his eyes from the white molly and began to speak once more "...I need to think about it, but I appreciate the fact that you've come down to speak with me about such a serious matter....you can stay if you'd like and I'll have two warriors escort you back to the border." he began "...Why are you and Blazingstar fighting? It must be a good reason...especially if I'm considering putting my clanmates at risk. No pressure, but the answer will effect my decision." he stated. He didn't want to shed any blood if it was uneccisary, he had heard that Skyclan was staying neutral...and besides, he didn't wish to be known as the battle hungry leader, he cared deeply for his clanmates safety, and the last thing he would want is a war, but if it effected Riverclan as well, he had to see which side both he and his clan stood on.

Snowstar could see the worry and faint amusement clearly in the Tom's gaze and inwardly rolled her eyes at herself. Yeah, great first impression. He thinks I'm crazy now. She thought, shaking her head at herself with a sigh. Great going, Snowy. She nodded when he thanked her, offering a small smile. "Of course," She replied, sitting back. She was beginning to feel a little more comfortable now, but not completely. She was still in another Clan's camp. And while the thought didn't really bother her, she didn't want to seem rude by making herself too comfortable. After she finished explaining, she took a look around as she waited for the Tom's response. When he finally spoke, Snowstar looked back up at him, ears flicking faintly. "Yes, I understand." She murmured. She'd expected this kind of response and was mentally kicking herself for turning to a Clan that had just gone through such huge changes in ranks. Her ears pricked slightly when Fallenstream said that it wasn't a no just yet, however. And she felt faintly relieved and faintly guilty. She didn't want to drag the recovering Clan into this, but now it was too late to turn back.

When he asked exactly why her and the WindClan leader were fighting, she paused and stared at him, choosing her words carefully as she spoke again. "Well, it started when one of my warriors was killed at the border." She stated, narrowing her eyes slightly as she remembered. "I confronted Blazingstar about it, but he brushed it off. After this, things only went further downhill." She said warily, frowning. "I won't lie to you, we've been in the wrong, too. Well, I have, at least. Taking one of his warriors was completely out of line. He has a right to be angry about that." Her ears went back.

"And I can see why he's angry about the stealing prey, as well. But my Clan was starving and I had absolutely nowhere else to turn. I had to do what was best for ThunderClan - That's what I was doing from the beginning. Perhaps, though," She added uncertainly, now mostly talking to herself. She still was sure WindClan was more in the wrong, but... "Perhaps I let it get too far." But should she have just kept her mouth shut about her dead warrior? Should she have let her Clan starve? No. She wasn't going to do that. And if Blazingstar wanted to fight because of it, then he'd get a fight... Snowstar shook her head and brought her gaze back to Fallenstream. "Well, thank you for considering." She said sincerely. "I understand you're busy, so if you want, I'll go ahead and get out of your fur now."

@starfall
Blossom hesitantly stepped into the leader's den. She couldn't have felt more out of place here, and she could feel the other cats' eyes following her. She felt relieved when she arrived in the privacy of the leader's den and could relax. She had traveled quite a while to have the chance of joining a clan, and so she quickly groomed herself as she calmed herself down. She wanted to look not only presentable but professional. The kittypet was a bundle of nerves right now, and she had to take a deep breath to calm herself down. She quickly searched the den for the leader before saying, "H-hello? I'm... uh... here." She had come all the way here for a specific reason, though. She wanted to find her sister, a cat that had long since faded away from her memory. She remembered that she was once part of a clan, but couldn't remember what or where she had lived. Blossom had heard a loner on the street talking a bit about the clans, so she had to ask him and see for herself. She had traveled down to RiverClan to have a meeting with the leader, to see if she could handle living in a clan. Just wait and be calm. You'll do fine if you're calm, she thought, only making herself more nervous with this reassurance.

The ebony feline had just woken up from a short nap, being instructed to rest by Juniperpaw after the battle. He didn't receive any deep or worrying wounds, only a few minor scratches here and there, though that didn't mean the tom was sore from fighting so much, but as was the rest of his clan. He opened his eyes and swiveled his ears to face the direction of the entrance, for a second, he forgot who was coming, all he knew is that someone wished to speak with him. The second the molly poked her head in, he remembered and let out a grunt as he sat himself up, his muscles screaming at him, whining for more rest.

Fallenstar looked the molly in the eye, his lapis hues gave nothing away, as did his serious expression. "Hello, Blossom." he greeted, dipping his head slightly. "You wish to join Riverclan,why?" he asked, tilting his head up slightly. He has no room for backstabbers or those who wish to do harm to Riverclan, molly or tom, clanborn, or kittypet, she was no exception.

Blossom's mouth went dry, unused to the leader's upfront language. Many of the cats she had normally talked to went around the question or area of concern, but Fallenstar had jumped right on the topic of interest. She took a deep breath and replied, "I-I remember when I was younger that I used to be part of a clan. One day I wandered off and... never saw my sister again. For years I've been a kittypet, going from place to place with different housefol- er, twolegs. There I was treated like a stupid animal, and hated the dull life. Same routine, day in, day out. I hate that life now, not just feeling helpless, but so alone and not able to live my life freely. I know that clan life isn't easy, but I'm ready to be a part of a clan and to do my part for the sake of others." Blossom shuddered and whispered, "and hopefully find my sister along the way. I used to be a part of a clan... and I want to once more." Blossom realized that throughout her speech, she had grown more confident in her speaking, and so she stood tall facing the leader.

The feline tilted his head to the side, looking at the molly with a cold stare, his eyes half idled, lashes covering the frosty orbs. He listened intently to what she had to say, and for a few moments, he didn't believe her, it was too easy to spin a tale and felines tended to be gullible. He wasn't going to fall for it. Or, at least, he wasn't, until he saw her demeanor change completely. She straightened up and projected her voice more, no longer seeming whiny and scared. He lowered his head, slightly, and perked his ears forward, now he was looking at her with normal eye level. There could be a possibility that she wasn't lying, but, he still had his doubts. "How do you know that it was Riverclan, and what if it wasn't Riverclan, and your sister was in a different clan, what will you do then?" he asked, his tail flicking back and fourth. He knew that such a question was a hard one to answer, but, he had to make sure she wouldn't end up getting both herself and her possible future clanmates hurt if she couldn't decide where her loyalties lie. At the same time, she would be one to keep an eye out for if she told the ebony leader that she would stay in Riverclan, especially with the current war going on.

Fallenstar let out a sigh and shook his head "You've put yourself in a difficult position Blossom, but...let me ask this instead." he began. He knew what it was like to choose where your loyalties lie, family or clan? It was a tough decision. "Will you fight for Riverclan when we need it most?" he asked, his voice guttural. "Now, of course, if she ends up being in Riverclan, that makes this much easier...but if your sister is in any of the other clans...that could cause some problems." he explained. It could cause many, many, problems, but, all those made up senerios in his head depended on how friendly the former kittypet is.

Blossom took a deep breath and said, It would be amazing to meet my sister, and I think we could be good friends. But if she's not in RiverClan... I have to be loyal to the clan. I never want to hurt her, but when battle comes,
I will fight for RiverClan."
Blossom didn't know what clan her sister would be in, but she had made her decision to join RiverClan whether her sister was there or not. She closed her eyes and said quietly, "We can be friends on our own time, but neither of us can put the clan at stake." She didn't want to be in the clan just for her sister, she wanted to be a part of clan life where everyone relied on everyone else, where everything was interdependent. She wanted to hunt, train, and battle. She wanted to all of the hard things because with it came a sense of responsibility and it meant that everyone had to do their part. She didn't want to be with her housefolk anymore, she wanted clan life.

The ginger cat looked into Fallenstar's eyes to see his reaction. Blossom wanted more than anything to join the clan, but if she wasn't ready... she wasn't ready. She felt that she was, but knew she would come back again if necessary, and she would train and try her hardest to become worthy of the clan. Awhile ago, she hadn't know that clans in the forest had existed, though she heard tales that the neighborhood cats told to young kittens. They called them wild savages that tore apart live animals to eat. Blossom used to be scared until she had heard a different side of the story. One that called them noble and fierce, a tale that described their heroic battles and loyalty to one another. "Sure I would love to meet my sister, but clan life is what called me here, not her," she added softly.

There was something about the way Daisyshade carried herself, something you wouldn’t have noticed unless she told you what it was. She was feeling a little heavy around her abdomen and nobody had quite mentioned it so she didn't bring it up, not even with juniperpaw who she most likely should have brought it up with anyways. That didn't matter now because there was more pressing matters at paw and she had to handle them no matter what. That started with the naming ceremony. My naming ceremony. Anybody would've understood why fallenstar looked so confused when she told him. Who wouldn't? it was sudden and out of the blue, but it had to be done. She was weak and too soft for the life starclan had wanted her to go on, this was her destiny and those where her problems that she needed to fix. This name she had grown up this name she had lived by for so long the one she was Destined to have was no longer her own name. It echoed her past and what she had blossomed out of and the world she had been tossed into. Like everyone else she now joined them side by side, to set aside her childish ways and become who she had neglected for so long. She padded out of the dirtplace and approached the high rock with her chest puffed out and eyes glinting with excitement. Flashing back to her apprentice ceremony, and from there her warrior, and finally her deputy, there was obvious differences between each of them yet her deputy had stuck out much farther than normal. The hatred laced within the toms golden gaze that made her confidence melt in her chest like ice left in the sun. That didn't matter now she would finish this and than- than she would go and speak to him in his den. Secluded and alone where she could ask him all about that, look yet maybe she wasn't the only one who had gets such a glare. She shivered at the thought of how many other cats he had looked at with those eyes but now she would brush that aside. All things would be settled at some point. She came up to the assembled group of cats her tail lashing, excitement surged through her forcing her to simply stand. There was no time to stand and she could barely stop herself from jumping up and shouting with joy. Today was her day.

Once the whole thing was over she glanced up at the tom surprise filling her maw as he actually went through With it. Not that she hadn't expected it to happen but more that she couldn't believe that the day had finally come! Than turning she stepped off the spot and slipped into the crowd, she wouldn't let others ask her about the name change. It shouldn't concern them besides she had somthing to do. Forcing herself past clan mates she wriggled her way out of the mod before glancing back up to where fallenstar had been before trotting with her chin raised and her chest puffed out. Extending her claws she began to climb up the rock fall forcing herself not to panic at the height. Finally she reached the shade of his den overlooking the clan. Her tail jerked nervously but she swallowed the bile in her throat "Fallenstar? Do you perhaps have a minute?" she asked gently. Leaning closer to the trendils her breath fogging and drifting upwards from between her nostrils.

[It's perfectly fine sorry it took so long ;w; ]

The ebony feline had much weighing on his mind, of course, they were all problems he had no solution to, and problems he couldn't fathom into words, into sentences. He was drifting in and out of reality, a clouded over look slung accrost his face, ideas crossing his mind without his knowledge, except for a select few that he latched onto, or rather, for the select few that latched onto him. His thoughts had become nothing but vermin, venomous beings that sucked his happiness away, that ate at his heart, that ripped apart his soul. Of course, he had been dealing with said feeling for a few moons now, quite a few moons, and there were no signs that it was going to get better, that these thoughts and emotions that were eating away at his very being, were going to go away.

Fallenstar was pulled back into reality by a voice calling for him, at first he thought it was Honeypool, but after a few seconds he realized it was, instead, his deputy. He closed his eyes for a moment, trying to shove away all the blighting thoughts, and finally answered the cream feline, "Yes come in Dais-er Rowanflower." he called, mentally kicking himself for his slip-up.

[you're good
and sorry, my reply is gonna be a tad short, kinda tired ;w; ]

The tom had been thinking to himself,

The tom quirked an eyebrow and listened intently to what the molly had to say, listened to her answers closely, listening for any possible deceit hidden within the vowels and consonants. After taking a moment to think it over, racking his brain on all the answers and possible problems, he had finally come to a decision. "you may join, but you will need someone to stick next to your side until you remember what it's like to be in a clan once again..I doubt you'll need a mentor for fighting lessons." he inquired, his tail lashing behind him. He didn't like long, drawn out conversations, so, rather than continusouly batter her with questions, he decided to just get straight to the point, he was tired, and honestly, he needed to fix himself at the moment. "Any complaints?" he asked, his chin held high, lapis hues giving nothing away.

For you and me

Let's get lost at sea
Where they will never find us

Blossom blinked and shook her head quickly, "No, no sir. But... um... will I be able to keep 'Blossom' in my warrior name? I mean, it's fine if I don't; I was just curious." She tilted her head and thought about the fact that she would need a cat to show her around. I was certainly a good requirement, but she felt like she would have trouble meeting new cats. She knew not every cat would enjoy her company, considering she was a kittypet. Happiness bubbled inside of her as she ran Fallenstar's words through her head, you may join. She hesitated before asking, "So... can I leave or should I..." Blossom wasn't sure what to finish her sentence with, so she looked at Fallenstar, waiting for a reply. She knew she was going to have some trouble getting into the swing of things in RiverClan, but her hopes were high. She knew how to swim for the most part, but the fast-moving bodies of water scared her a little bit. She sat up straight and swayed slightly from side to side.

@starfall
[ I would really not worry about it being late haha c: ]
[ Also, I’m not sure if I want Rowan to let fallen know she’s pregnant, what do you think? ]

Gracefully dipping into the den the ginger and white spotted she cat could sense his uneasiness with her name change. It was odd of course and certainly not something you heard everyday, but that’s not exactly the whole reason she was here. She came a few whiskerlengths I’m keeping herself close to the exit just in case he did anything that upset her and she needed to take her leave. She was stoic but fallenstars words shook her soul, his glares made her weak no matter how much she didn’t wanna admit that. She shuffled her paws awkwardly before lifting her gaze off the floor. She looked directly at him her green eyes searching his for anything, but his seemed clouded over with deep thought. Bad timing for sure. she swallowed the bile raising in her throat and sat down instinctively sweeping her long fluffy tail around her paws. Flicking her ears toward him she gave a little sigh and straightened up. “I’ve been meaning to talk to you lately” she said raising her chin just a bit so she could see the tom in the dark corner of his den.

She blinked a few times than sighed “I can’t help but feel, that I’m doing something to make you hate me” she breathed. Admittedly this was the topic she had wanted to start out with and end on a sour note, her pregnancy. If it meant she had to resign she knew that it wouldn’t really go over well for anyone. She would be too antsy as she had always been. Deputy kept her busy and rightly so.
