I dislike Firestar because as soon as he became leader, he turned into a Gary sue. He does almost everything perfectly, and that annoys me. The Erin’s could’ve done a bit better with his personality.

I love Jayfeather because his personality fits him so well! He is usually grumpy due to cats fussing over his blindness all the time. The Erin’s did an amazing job with Jayfeather!

Violetshine is so annoying. She acts like she gets the bad side in everything compared to her sister Twigpaw. Yet, she became a warrior first- she went on the second quest with her father to see her father’s original clan. She also got to live with her father, not Twigpaw. *glowers*

Twigpaw is so amazing. She tries so hard to fit in with her families clan, but fails, she falls in love with Fidgetpaw, and she found her biological clan. She is kind and adores Alderheart. She had a bad kithood and like deserves better.

Firepaw/star is not a horrible character on his own. It is the fact that he is so overpowered and does everything perfectly on the first try that annoys me. He can do no wrong, apparently. When he had just been brought into ThunderClan, he won a fight against a full-grown warrior with no previous training. And then he goes on to have this wonderful talent for hunting and has prophetic dreams. He fights Yellowfang and almost kills her even with his injured paw. After that he smuggles Ravenpaw out of the clan like it was nothing. He then proceeds to travel with Yellowfang to ShadowClan camp and rescue the kits, which succeeds even though he is fighting with a group of elders and mostly unskilled warriors. And this all happens in the first book, and his Gary Stu nature annoyed be throughout the entire first book.

Yellowfang is my favorite character mainly because she is- for the most part- well rounded. Sure she has those moments when her character doesn't match up, but she fails like a normal cat. She makes mistakes, and that's what I like about her. She doesn't let anyone's opinion stop her from what she thinks is right, and is both confident and a little humble. She only betrays her clan because it wasn't what it once was, and it doesn't uphold the beliefs she believes in. Overall a well-rounded character who stands up for what she believes in.
