Poppydaze was sorting herbs, and suddenly stopped. Her mind drifted into a paradise where she was a healer, and nothing was ever wrong. Cruelty was just a word there, and there were no slaves she had to regularly heal. Snapping her attention back to her sorting, Poppydaze stood up slowly. Birdwing awoke from her nap, her jaws gaping in a yawn. Her dreams were vivid, and full of kits prancing around. Oh, how she wished she had kits of her own. Kits who would prance and dance and be the light of her life. Wistfully, Birdwing exited the den, and stretched. Could she ever find the right one? Shaking her head she struck on a serious and authorative face. She couldn't have kits, she was the deputy of her Clan! Though it was a nice thought, Birdwing knew she would have to put her Clan first. Padding into the clearing, she glanced around for someone to chat with.

Rabbitpaw quietly walked around camp, thinking about the nightmare she had had earlier. She was wondering if she could tell anyone when a thought popped in her head. Maybe Poppydaze! She was much nicer than Hawkgaze, and she would probably listen to her. Rabbitpaw quickly walked began walking back to the medicine den.

Poppydaze was just about to fall asleep when she head faint, quick paw steps. Blinking tiredly, Poppydaze shook out her pelt, and sat back down. "Who's there?" She inclined her head towards the entrance.

"Its just me , Rabbitpaw." Rabbitpaw quickly walked into the sight of Poppydaze, and sat down. "I was wondering if I could talk to you. I've been having these really bad nightmares..." Rabbitpaw stared down at the ground.

"I'll protect you." Owleyes let out a gruff laugh, remembering how tough his apprentice is. "That is, if you want me to."
