Snapping her jaws shut on a yawn, Rainydawn led the way deep into the territory so that the two apprentices could hunt. She stopped in a lush area of undergrowth and turned to watch Hazelpaw and Whitepaw reach her.

“Alright, I’ll show you a hunting crouch to imitate and then you can go off and hunt and I’ll be around to correct your forms.”

With that, Rainydawn dropped into a hunting crouch. Her front and back legs bent and her haunches dropped, tail hovering just above the ground. Rainy looked over at the two apprentices to be sure that they were imitating.

Whitepaw imitated her, and dropped into a hunting crouch, her tail hovered very close to the ground occasionally her tail dipped the ground, her front legs and her back legs tucked under her to spring at something, Hopefully. She looked up at Rainydawn. { @Beau. }

Hazelpaw, having arrived to stand beside her mentor, investigated the bengal mix's every movement as she seemingly squatted perfectly down into the position of what was a clearly-practiced crouch. Great StarClan, she made everything appear so easy!

Legs buckling to tuck beneath her, Hazelpaw drew in a sharp breath before hunkering steadily down, tail waving against the air from behind her. She peered up at Rainydawn. "A-am I doing it correctly?"

Alpha would gaze through the territory. This isn't the outskirts, all these scents are making me confused. The large tom would continue through the bushes, sniffing and tasting the air to try to identify where he was. (He's a very large and intimidating Maine coon- feel free to be hostile)

Once the apprentices had dropped into their own crouches, Rainydawn stood and moved to survey them. Whitepaw’s crouch looked fine and Hazelpaw merely had to lift her tail; Rainydawn tapped the apprentice’s tail upward with her own and moved back to stand before them.

“Alright, remember this crouch- it’s one of the most important in a warrior’s life. Now run along and hunt, I’ll be around.”

Shadedpaw lifted his head and sniffed but he shook his head "No, I can't smell anything else." @StealthWarrior

Ok. She mewed, and dashed if she sniffed the air smell of bird hit her nose, a black feather lay in front of her she then saw a starling she fell into her crouch and stalked it it looked up in surprise it began to flap it hovered off the ground a bit but she was faster and leaped at it. It cawed and struggled against her grip until she bit it, she picked it up in her jaws and sniffed around her nose was covered in feathers now, so she couldn’t smell she wondered if Hazelpaw caught anything... she dashed off with the prey in her month trying to find her friend. { @Corruptx. @Beau. }

Foxblaze padded out into the territory, turning to glance at Snakekit. “I think I’ll show you some hunting and You get to try meat for the first time.” She mewed smiling happily at her little Snake.
